Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
TV is total crap, so I went online and got a new inverter thingo and an anode. Off to AJ tomorrow for some gentle treatment
Watered the gardens today, did some washing and that was it. Have to sort out some more stuff from the wardrobe (too small stuff
) for the op shop. Hoping the knee op goes to plan Carol and that all the other knees and hips are doing well. May as well have a shower and hit the sack so take care one and all. Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Bernie x

Gee Dot, it really is a good sign that you are gaining a few pounds. If the wardrobe is lacking. go to Rockmans online and have a fish through their lists of ten dollar numbers. Some are even better than op shop finds. Hope you have fun. xxxx
George, if you want to give your eyelids a bit more of a lift, I have been using the great bio oil on my eyelids for a while now and friends are asking me who did the eye surgery. It may not be a permanent cure, but at least that is something, non invasive, that you can try while waiting for more surgery.
As promised, today was total rest. I slept until 11, had a lazy long hot shower, did the knee exercises, iced said knee and started planning a couple of rebuilds of plates that I think need to be worked on. Bits break off in transport sometimes and others the pieces just appear on the stall. Customers can be sneaky too. Anyways, I found his lordship was up a ladder, working on some blackout blinds. I was not leaving him with a ladder unsupervised, so the shed is still waiting.
I had an email from one of my suppliers saying that blue glass is on special. Funnily enough, I sell much more of anything blue than any other colour. The blue things are the first to sell every time. So I did have some fun...oops. I do hope that he is not home when that parcel arrives
Tomorrow is appointment with the specialist, so I guess that will wipe out the day.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
A different day, Off to AJ's part way through treatment AJ had a bout of vertigo so there was me on the treatment bed and her drooped across my legs waiting for it to pass. If only there was a camera in action
Got the hosp papers for my sleep test, be there at 7.30pm and get booted out at 7.30am
that is inhumane and I protest
Got the hair dresser in the morning, re-dyking. Tomorrow is also out champ Shirley crushes her opposition. Go for the jugular Shirley. Good to hear your knee is coming along nicely Deborah just take it easy. The other post surgical members should also be travelling well by now and the latest knee was Carol today. Any sickies hope all are improving. Has anyone ever got stuff from Amazon? see they are in liquidation?? Time for bed so Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Robert not Bob x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, I have used amazon a couple of times and really hate to use them. They insist that the only way to pay is by credit card and then they store your numbers. My rule has been to only shop online if they accept paypal. Our daughter has shopped on amazon and used paypal, but I haven't found a way to do that. So I rarely shop with them now and temu usually has the identical thing for a lot cheaper price. Hope this is useful xxxx
I do hope that Carol gets the same results that I have been getting. I am by no means out of pain or stiffness, but after nearly six weeks, my surgeon gave me a high five. She was that pleased with the progress. The best thing that I am doing all the exercises every second day and using ice straight after. Surgeon told us that the exercises will be necessary for at least the next six months. A new knee is a lot of work, but definitely better than staying in constant pain. If it comes that I will need the other knee replaced, it will be how soon can you do it?
The rest of the day was spent in my shed. Yes, I managed the stairs a lot better today. The two plates that were annoying me, are in the kiln getting flattened right now. Tomorrow I will add some more decorations and things to make them a better size or shape, then on Friday they will get returned to being plates. I also have a replacement splat plate to make for a lady for our next event. Luckily she sent me a photo of it and I am pretty sure that I will get it fairly close to what she has broken..
That's all that I have tonight, so sleep tight xxx
