Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It's a goodie isn't it. Big banger. Love it, even if it is the wrong breed.

The mob I worked for (Heads Everready Engineering, Murrembeena, Vic ) at the time entered a Mini, straight off the showroom floor, just to be in it.
This was at the time all classes were on the track at the same time
We were there at Bathurst when Chrysler were bringing out their V8 Charger and doing test runs for fine-tuning.
The things could get up to 140 ++Mph down "conrod straight" but were a bugger to pull up at the bottom.
Then the law changed, Chrysler was overpowered by the Ford lobby, the result was that production of that "Race Tuned" Charger was dropped.

The sound of a V8 peaking out down the straight and not dropping any bits is one of the best sounds a motor enthusiast can ever hear and remember.
( As a footnote, Jack Brabham used the same basic motor in his race cars as he reckoned the basic engine was indestructible )

Don't know about a walk in the park, yes they run power steering now, but the engines run to 7,500 rpm now, are only 5 ltr, not 5.8 ltr ..... and if you ever get to one of the motor shows where they have the simulators, you owe it to yourself to put up the $$ and have a drive ..... I was battling to walk after 5 laps, the G forces are something else, best $50 I've ever spent, and that was back in '97 in the Larry Perkins 308 days, I was driving a simulation of the Glen Seton EL Falcon, with full module twisting and turning and somehow simulated the acceleration and braking G forces, as well as the corners belting you into each side of the seat .... absolutely something else ..... I didn't have the $25,000 to put up to buy one, imagine what one would be worth now ..... how good would be to have now ...... Probably not, I'd be recovering at the physio after a lap

Good morning.
Too early to watch that again T1 😁.
Overcast here again, still no rain...I had the bore running most of the day watering all the garden's.
Carol is improving daily, Deb she has no pain what so ever.
I removed the tall dunny seat neither of us enjoyed it 🙄
We may get some info from Biggenden hospital today about her physio??
Carol is doing more by herself each day, reckons she could do without the walker... I said yer NO.
Her appetite came back last night she ate her chop's and veggies, first real meal.
Nothing planned for today.
Sofar...
👁️ Eyes out for the posty Keith.
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. I am back in Mulwala now, with a heap more treasure. The weather seems more pleasant here, it might get to 25⁰ today, so BoM says.
Nothing on the program for today yet. But I'm sure that will change.
It's good to hear that Carol is making good progress.
It looks like most Victorians are having a 4 day long weekend, there are people everywhere up here.
Safe travels.
Cheers
