Unless Trump changes the constitution, the 22nd amendment says he can only serve 2 terms and he has already served one term .... just because there was gap between the terms, doesn't change that, let's see what hppens afr this 2 yr term ..... I guess the worrying things, e will hand over to Vance close to the end of his 2 yr term, the way Biden should have, but that same power thing no doubt will not allow that to happen ...... We ee the same thing in Aust politics, so nothing new there

Don't think it matters who won or who wins our elections or for that matter anywhere else on the planet any more, it won't make a bit of difference to the future ahead. Trump or Harris will make zero effects on the future, they are both dedicated ideologues who live deep within fantasy land and no different to our own politicians, corporate heads and academic elites. Their only aim is to progress their ideological outlook, which doesn't exist in the real world, just in their demented minds.

The writings been on the wall for decades and now that writing is becoming reality, yet everyone seems to be sticking to the ideological fantasies forgetting it's not humans or ideologies that determine our future but nature and the reality of what humanity has become, is beyond redemption and the more we ignore it, the bigger the devastation will be.

If the "USA lives again" it will only be for a very short time when you look at the real approaching scenarios we will have to cope with. Climate change is just beginning and already creating destruction and havoc worldwide, then add that the planets now saturated with plastic pollutants, coming in many forms including herbicides, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, junk, processed food and everything we have.

They say the Roman empire collapsed because of lead pollution altering the minds of humans and we have the same problem with plastics, as they produce oestrogen and other noxious chemicals and gases which is having a profound effect on humanity and wildlife. Which is most likely the reason for the growth in so many people claiming they aren't the biological sex they were born as and the growing mental problems, breakdowns and rise in domestic violence, which is purely a psychological problem and nothing more.

War is inevitable irrelevant as to who is in power, ideological delusions rule humanity and we see that throughout history. Even though there's been nothing but war, invasion and destruction throughout the history of religion, we are now faced with the religious zealots going completely crazy and they have weapons that will destroy life on the planet and not one of them will take a backward step. It's defeat our enemies irrelevant to the fact they worship the came mythical god as us, which is rather bizarre if you have a rational mind and not one controlled by illusionary ideological claims, which looking at history you see they never come true. But believers always claim they do come true and recorded history is wrong, when life gets to that point of denial and rejection of the reality and have weapons of massive destruction, there's no hope of getting out of the mess we've created.

To my mind, getting heated about a situation no one has control over because humanity has lost its mind in fantasy land and rejected the reality we face, is just a part of the problem. Unless you're in total denial, or don't want to know the truth, then you should be doing something about what's ahead, if not for yourselves but for the younger generations who now have zero to look forward to.

Don't be surprised to see the USA implode over the next year and it would be the same if Harris had won, or any devout ideologue, you can't beat reality with delusions, it never works.

Well in the past there has been all sorts of checks and balances, and lets say it, sane people in Washington that have tended to keep past presidents within reasonable guard rails. But when the rule book is tossed out the window and only yes men are appointed, who knows what will happen ?
The yanks are pretty big on mom, apple pie and their cherished constitution so to rip that one up will be a big big ask, I don't think that will happen. For that sort of thing you need a dictator, check one, and a compliant military, check no, so extremely difficult.

It's a 4yr Presidential term Terry.
The 2yr bit is in relation to "the other house" where they stagger the 'terms'. 4 years but half in 2 years & the other half after another 2 years. (I think?)
I really have little interest in any other countries system or results.
Appears there are 3 'houses' though & the results indicated the party has control of all 3 now.

Don't overlook the third assassination attempt yet to follow.
Give the enemy time to find somebody who is more accurate.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Agree and it's going to the same way here and could be why labor lost Queensland, this PC woke crap is destroying all facets of societies and people are confused because real choice doesn't exist in politics because it's controlled by deranged ideologues living in fantasy land.
