Good morning All. 21*, cloudy and drizzly but 29* forecast for tomorrow afternoon.

The pain in my shoulder area wasn't easing so I gave the Physiotherapist the flick following Tuesday's visit and as I walked past an acupuncture clinic on Thursday morning I decided to give it a go.

I walked in and asked if they had an appointment available for Friday and was told that the person who was booked for right then had not arrived so I was ushered in to a treatment room immediately.

The practioner is the son of one I went to 20 years ago with great success and after 45 minutes of jabbing and vibrating I headed home with another appointment for next Monday along with the advice to apply a heat pack as often as possible. I have had very little pain since but wish I could say the same regarding my eye pain which increases whenever I look down, like as I am posting this.

If might have worked on the shoulder George, but I can't reckoned it for the eyes, takes a lot of concentration and will power to allow the needles in the eyes ..... can't imagine what leaving them there for any amount of time would be like ..... but relief is far from the likely result even when they take them out ......

A tad hot in Upper Mannum today. Went for a bulk job on the haircut, did the beard and all, coffee and a pie in the airconditioned bakery .... until it started to get hot in there, stepped outside outside and the temperature had gone up another 10* I reckon ..... Rest of the day laying on the bed, reading/sleeping with the air con and the fans on ...... off to the air conditioned club now for dinner and a show ...... and cold beer

No Jake. Just the Isuzu turbo and 6 speed with an American exhaust brake.


It's a US Gear which is a bit unique. It has a butterfly and waste gate. So, it fully shuts of the exhaust and then modulates the pressure using the waste gate.

Good morning.
I went down there with an air leak... everytime I touched the brake my air gauge dropped, I was a tad nervous...not to mention Carol following me, the exhaust brake wasn't working . We didn't get up to much yesterday couldn't mow grass still to wet... maybe today... Carol reckons she will go to bingo tomorrow...we'll see ..

Good morning everyone. It's a lot cooler this morning than it was yesty. We might get to 27⁰ today, if we're lucky. Maybe some showers or even a storm, says BoM. Got up to not very much yesty, it was 36⁰ in the arvo.
We are off to the markets this morning. Might be lucky and find some more treasure.
