Good morning everyone. It has rained overnight, not sure how much yet. So the humidity is going to be high, again.
It might get up to 28⁰ with a humidity of maybe 85%, so it might be a good day to do the Winny roof.
Bernie, I will leave a fair bit of that cabling where it is, but I will label it all. Most of it is run through conduit or cable tied to the loom.
Terrie and her daughter arrived safely at Mulwala around 8.30 last night. I reckon they will have slept well. It's a long drive.
Safe travels all those out and about. Have a top day.
Good morning daily

Send the photos to yourself via email, open the email on your computer and save the photos to a file there. You can then attach them to anything you choose, but back them up on a stick and get a fire proof safe .... you already know why I'm suggesting that last bitdream4red wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2024 12:51 am Good morning, I see the nighty night page has died out a bit, so I will visit over here.
I just have had way too many things happening and the computer was having a big rest. Started with the solar battery problems, finally sorted. Then came the knee surgery, almost good as new and lately the big issue has been realising that we live in a split level house and getting up and down the stairs has been stopping me from getting to my shed. So we have been going through the dramas of doing building works and now have a compact lift fully installed. It will take us both , but he is not so keen to use it for all the time. We had to get our main staircase turned out at the bottom, to give us room for the lift. That was quite a drama, done now. Then arranging for the installers to come around our schedule of a couple of fairs and it's all finished now.
Where are the pics? when Mr Apple and Mr Microsoft decide to talk to each other nicely, I may be able to share them. I am frustrated by not being able to get the phone pics onto the computer, something weird is happening here. No point having a camera on the phone, if I can't access the pics. I have been doing this for ages with no issues and suddenly the iphone people have re-sorted the pics and the computer doesn't want to know about it. Hoping our daughter can sort it for me over Christmas.
Had a great get together with our neighbours at the local park today. Was nice to meet a few new people and have a drink with others who we rarely get to speak to, with all having busy lives. The heat here has been unbearable, so no doubt Shirley will give the bowls a break.
Stay cool out there
T1 Terry

Re: Good morning daily
It's that time of the year when locals here crawl into their homes and don't leave for the next few weeks when the terrorists (tourists and shackies) leave, which is the end of Jan. Went for a surf yesterday and came out of the water to find the beach and carpark overflowing with people, kids and unleashed dogs. Seems they don't read the signs telling them dogs must be on a leash and not to be on the beach between 8am and 6pmfrom december to feb, but they are on holiday and think they can do what they like.
Today we have a gale, constant nth winds over 50kph and too dangerous to go outside because of flying branches etc, along with the occasional shower. So have no plans until the wind dies down and that may not be until tonight when we are expecting lots of rain.
Deborah, you could try a linux operating system on your computer , then you wouldn't have any trouble dealing with windows or Iphone and would have hassle free computing with no intrusions or anything, including adverts. Sadly both microsoft and apple are profit driven systems, so they will never allow you to control your ph or computer systems and you'll always have problems. You could dual boot windows with linux play round with it, download your photo's etc and if you don't like it, uninstal linux, without hurting your windows system.

Yes Bernie, I do.
Last night, 5 kids around hanging out. It's really satisfying (if that's the right word) that the boys friends are happy to come around and muck around.
Thunder this morning.

Good morning 23c, N/E wind blowing waves across the lake, clear sunny sky 33c predicted, fingers crossed the wind or at least a breeze continues.
75% chance of rain for us tomorrow Bernie.

Doesn’t sound like you’ll be venturing to Maryborough tomorrow Bernie unless you have an alternative route
Jon our house was do drop in with the lads when our boys were growing up, we always made their friends welcome, my parents lived near us Dad use to take my boys walking out to the beach from a young age, the local lads all called him Pop, my boys still walked with him as teenagers.
