Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Today no surf, yesterday took a few dumpings in some big waves and this morning my body felt like it had been run over by a steam roller and needed a rest. So have moved the bus to the workshop to clean it out and paint it, as well as get some new starter and house batteries. Now have room to start on the bike and side car and will go for a surf tomorrow after some shopping up the road, need to get some supplies to get me over the xmas break and madness of those on holiday.

Enjoy your day everyone and Bernie, you're doing a great job.

Good morning 20c, no sun shining yet 29c predicted, last night we had a sky full of black clouds looked like we would have some rain, none overnight, rain predicted later this week.

Lots of activity out on the lake yesterday, think many have started their Christmas break on Friday, we have another new neighbour 4 doors along from us, house sold for 3.5 million, think it might be a weekender for the family, they have 2 big jet skies & a fishing boat, usually don’t get so much activity until after Christmas Day.

Good morning everyone. Looks like a nice day coming up, with a chance of an afternoon storm. Might get to walk the dog early today, it will be 30+⁰ later on.
The MiL treated to brekky yesty, at Hungry Jack's, where one of gkids works. Dunno that we'll be rushing back there. It was busier than I thought it would be though.
Haven't got anything planned for today yet, but I'm sure that'll change when the womenfolk wake up.
Only 2 more sleeps til Christmas.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Morning all.

My threads are a bit mixed up.
The AC cover should be in Dave TV post.

Anyway, back to some normal programming. A lesson on why you shouldn't tailgate.

You would wonder how that could happen. Bet it bounced things around in the van. At least he would have a story to tell at happy hour.

I thought it was lucky that it didn't happen a few seconds earlier or the white car heading in the opposite direction would have a big problem too.

Very colourful true Aussie description of the event as well  Blew a tyre, snapped the U bolts, tore the left hand spring out .....clearly a well-maintained van to have U bolts that loose and worn that the sheared off so easily and what normally holds those springs in on those two axle weight sharing systems? At least the van dragging on the road acted as a brake and enabled them to drive out of it ..... imagine if the driver had panicked and slammed on the brakes, I think the van would have landed on top of the car towing .....

Now picture the scene part way through an overtaking manoeuvre, either you would be beside that going off, or they would be beside you ...... only someone following with dash cam would sort out the chain of events
