Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It was mushrooms in the frying pan morning for me. A rare luxury only permitted when the boss lady says it's ok .... otherwise, it has to wait till I feel like eating mushrooms, we have mushrooms, and Margaret is away for the day

I have to figure out a way to get enough shade over the battery box area, in the first part of the day, so I can continue with the battery swap out. The heat from the sun is so intense I only last around 10 mins and the body says enough or you aren't gunna get back up the steps and under the air con .....

Good afternoon, been a good day here N/E wind ripping across the lake all arvo, keeps the house cool, younger g’sons had 3 hours swimming in the lake enjoying themselves, I took number 2 g’son shopping for his birthday 7th December & Christmas present better late than never, he was happy with our purchases guess that’s the important thing.😄

Good morning.
We had no rain here yesterday...
Not much was achieved...I'm on holidays 😁
I haven't even been to see the sea.. maybe today.
I don't know what all you people have done on earlier days..
I don't have any problems with sleeping 💤.
Maybe it's the beer 🍻.
We have a problem with my daughter's lithium battery... hopefully sorted today ??.
It turns off at sundown... and nothing works from them on... weird...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone, it looks like the rain has stopped for a while. We have had at least 130mm over the weekend.
It put a bit of a dampener on things.
We had all my children together for the first time in over 20 years and they didn't argue. Remarkable I think.
Today will be a recovery and cleanup day.
Terry, get a beach umbrella and mount it in a bit of pipe, if you can't get it into the ground.
Bernie, are you saying the lithium battery stops output when the sun goes down?
Have a top day everybody. Anyone heard from RnB lately?
Cheers
David

The concrete slab makes mounting anything ground based a tad tricky. Bit the bullet after waiting since mid Dec for another mob to get back to me about delivering electric awnings, so bought a 20ft for the drivers side and 18ft for the passenger side, manual type, and I'll relocate the Thule cassette awning forward to shade the driver and passenger front windows with them so I don't have issues with awning arms going over the windows or the door ....

I might have to bit the bullet and buy yet another 3mtr square gazebo thingy to do this battery job, the inverter is tad slow adjusting to the 12v load so things drop out and then everything comes on bright till it settles, so it needs the battery to act as a capacitor to smooth the load.

Well over the 35*C they claim up here at the yard, but the heat soak coming off the concrete slab and the forest/hedge blocking any circulating breeze would be contributing to that I guess.

We dodged a bullet yesterday evening we had two storms go by... one above us and one below.
Neighbour said we had 2 mm at home.
We are off to Bundy today for some shopping... need more beer. 🤔 And stuff..
All for now.

Big surf yesterday got heavily dumped a few times, but had a great day and a few barrels unlike the board riders who can't get down into those waves. Today, feel like been run over by a steamroller so gave it a miss. Will spend the time cleaning down the bus to paint it, but still haven't decided on colour, be sad to see it go as it did a top job for a $4000 dollar investment and now looking for something smaller and a bit younger.

Misty rain over night and everything is so green, outside gardens providing heaps of veggies, as are the inside ones. Some of the outside gardens are in cages, because of the large number of of possums and wallabies we have here, along with the sneaky tiny little native birds that have achieved the art of squeezing through the cage wire. So had to put small bird wire over the cages to stop them. But hasn't helped with all the fig trees, the cockatoos see to that just about every year and the fig supply is about 1/4 of what's on the trees.

I was up early 9am, took Brian to the vet for a check over and ears cleaned and test for mites etc but all clear. Arranged for credit if anything should arise and his sitter needs vet attention. G is off to the dentist today and I am off to the city at 6pm to the sleep clinic for the night, should be home by 9am. Brian told me there was something under the hot water cylinder and I got G to look and it was a little blue tongue, so I put a shallow water bowl down for it and Brian is inside asleep. Bit warm today again. Have a good day everyone.
