Good afternoon 26c, I bowled today in the Australia Day celebration, maximum was supposed to be 27c, sure felt warmer than that out on the green, it was a great fun day with a lot of laughs, barbecued sausages, meat patties & salad followed by lamingtons & cream which were supplied by John our baker/member, he also made two big lamington sponge cakes of Australia with Tassie at the bottom, chocolate & strawberry.
Good to stay home & take care of your lungs Keith, enjoy watching it all on the TV, Mens’ tennis grand final tonight.
Number 2 g’son, has been out learning to drive, he can’t get his licence till December, seems to be enjoying it.
Good morning daily

Didn't get anything done as far as the awnings, just too hot outside, so went to Mt Barker Hardly Normal and bought a recliner 2 seater lounge to replace the one in the Winnie so Margaret had somewhere she could sleep if the foot gave her too much trouble after coming to bed .... seems once she lies down it goes berserk

Good morning.
It was another warm day...hot at Gayndah...
There were about 30 cars on display...pic at finish of post.
Looks like your infor some hot days Jon...
Carol will be off to bingo today... first for the year...
I have finally found a car trailer... down the sunny coast,
I will probably go down either Wednesday or Friday, Thursday is out as it will be shopping day
Pain in the arse having no bank on town...so tomorrow I'll be off to Childers to get some cash out ...
I might get back to the front brake on the motorhome today... but no promises
it's already up the top of the 20s out side.
One picture from yesterday...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Same way as usual, seize the stuff where they can, substitute is for some other white powder to be held as evidence, then put it back on the market through their own black market channels .....jon_d wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 9:36 am Morning all.

As for the number of countries refusing the US access to their air space ..... The Don is going to be at war with everyone soon, Mexico and a few others have already implemented it.
Aust proved that ridiculous tariffs just mean a greater push to find new customers when China pulled that sort of stunt yrs back.
The Don might find he actually has issues with supply lines sooner than later, you can't be part of a world economy and then think you can simply change the rules without serious backlash ..... but then again, he does seem to live in a world of his own .....

That makes it worse not better, even with the foot hanging out of bed, the nerves still go crazy as soon as she lies down .... even the wall of pillows so she is sleeping near sitting up doesn't seem to work any more ....RobertNotBob wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 10:20 am Terry is Margret raising her foot above the heart, my cadio recommended me to do that to halp stop the pain as the heart does not have to pump so hard. Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone, its another overcast and windy day here with a hint of a storm. Nowhere near as hot as inland or down south though.
Great looking Billy cart Bernie. Looks like something I nailed together in the early 60's. Too much toe out for a speed racer though. I thought you were off to a show and shine?
Safe travels everybody. Enjoy what's left of the long weekend.

Re: Good morning daily
The old lounge is out, just too hot to pick up the new one today, hopefully tomorrow will be better. Reported as 41* at the moment .... I think I want to set up the Winnie where they take the weather readings, the rooftop rattler is trying its best but ....... maybe I need to set up a sprinkler system for the rattler to help get the heat away .... a cross breed reverse cycle swampy
Maybe I could collect the water coming off the evaporator and spray it through the condenser ........ one of those miniature pond pumps in the evaporator well and pumping out to a spray bar between the fan and the condenser .... but then I'd have get on the roof to fit it and I'd turn into a crispy piece of Jerky ... or bacon ... not sure which connotations is worse .....
