Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Think I'd be finding an engineer to retag the trailer with the bigger wheels and hubs and up the aggregate weight increase, the tag on there at the moment doesn't give much room for carry weight.

Missed out on a 3.5 tonne rated plant trailer at the last minute at a local auction, I was in at the ED when the notification came through and I couldn't very well tell them to wait while I increased my bid, my highest bid was $2050 and it sold for $2100 .... probably would have had to paid more, but at $2,500 it still would have been a good buy ..... I'll keep looking

Not the Dart. A fella I used to hang out with years ago had one of them and wanted to put a Y Block Ford motor into it.
Eventually he saw the light and sold it and put the Y Block into a Model A. The things we used to do for fun......

How good would it be to put an axial flux electric motor in one, 500ft lb torque at 1 rpm, no need for a gearbox .... it would certainly be a Go Go mobile

You possibly might need to totally rethink the suspension though. From memory they were rather basic. :D

Good morning.
Wow Carol said I don't have to drive anywhere today 😁
Not much to talk about for yesterday, just a normal shopping day...my old mate I catch up with had a fall in the shopping centre... he's getting a bit frail, caught up with his X... she told us he had another fall a few days earlier... not looking good...
Seeing the "Dart" was a bonus...I wasn't impressed with the way it was tied down...I think there will be rope marks on it...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone, it looks like another bright sunny day ahead. Might get to 30⁰, so the man says.
Didn't achieve much yesty. Went for a walk, went for a swim and then picked up some stuff from the hammer shed. It was too hot to do anything constructive.
Might mow some grass today. Not much else to report.
Enjoy your day everybody. Safe travels.
I think your right about the rope marks Bernie.
Cheers

Had a friend in my bike riding days, and he use to travel to the race meetings in his Googamobile. Had his bike strapped on the back. One day he did not make it, came over a hill and it took off and flipped. Got a different car after that.
AH the memories we have.

Morning all,

Nothing happening here today. Last day of mid 20's and then 5 days of high 30's.

Hope everyone gets better...

Well, Margaret had a visit from the local council, basically, we can't live here because it's commercial zoned property. We are now in the unique position of owning two properties and a home on wheels, and we can't live on either of them ..... We have 8 weeks to get out basically ......
