Dot, you have so many things to get sorted that I am amazed that you had time to come on here...will talk next week mate xxxx
Thank you everyone of you kind people. His phone is with telstra and I will take it to them to fix, great ideas from you all. I have no idea that Telstra can control the phone ringer, so you have all helped. This is such a great, kind community place.
RobertNB, your leg looks very impressive. I hope that this doesn't set you back too much. Get that rehab happening and get out of there.
All our bags are packed and zips are cable tied together. If it aint packed by now, it aint going. The croc question was easy, four pairs in the cases and one on my feet .Each of our larger bags, is way underweight, so I am happy with that . If I "accidentally" buy stuff, it can go home with us.
Catch of the day is closing forever in April....so watch their promos, there are bargains afoot. I had to buy some things tonight, before they are gone. I get all my plastic bags (that are really bad for the ecology stuff) and I intend to responsibly use them forever. So a big box will arrive next week. Our poor tenant will be earning her cheap rent. She collects it for us, once delivered to our house. We have a much more sheltered porch than she does and I thought addressing it to her address might be a bit rude.
Our tickets came to our email address and I was able to print them out to have a hard copy, but they keep me sending messages to join their thing. They are quite annoying.
The other story that I have been watching is about golden circle. There products are rarely Aussie anymore and mostly from China. They have told the Queensland pineapple growers that their contracts are up in two years and they wont be buying pineapples after then. I wont be buying their products any day soon either. The pineapple growers have started Lockyer Valley Foods and are hoping to start up a canning plant. They are trying to get enough grants to do this. Watch out for our great governments. Will they support this? Hope so, but worth keeping an ear out for them.
NIght all
hopefully will talk to you from Adelaide tomorrow. xxx

"Tanks" here----
I believe that the 3 rings and noting more is a way of making you use the voicemail.
As a Telstra subscriber, I refuse to pay the retrieval cost for the message.
This is just my observation over the several years.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Another cold day for Wyalkatcem WA today with the temp now at 19c and climbing to 39c later today.
Yesterday's maximum was 47c in the Weatbelt.
I am very comfortable inside with the air conditioning running.
My breathing has improved and I have overcome the dry mouth/lips dehydration problem.
I am drinking lots of water and several cups of tea, and I am sipping lots of water throughout the day.
My chemist has put me on Hydralyte Electrolyte tablets and that has fixed the tongue sticking to the roof of my mouth and the dry lips effect. It is a gut problem and most likely due to some of the other prescribed medications I am taking.

Sounds like you and GMan have had a great anniversary, not. Congrats anyway, Has he shown some improvements yet? I hope to hear that he is getting better soon mate, please give him a hug from me and one for you too mate. xxxx
Adelaide, we is here!
Our flight was ok, as flights go. All up and down and back on the ground.
Newcastle airport is so old that they still have the very high steps up to the plane. As I had asked for a wheelchair (prior warning from sister), I was taken up to the plane by a lift....most exciting.
Melbourne airport was a painful wait for the next leg to happen. It's very crowded and busy. But we survived.
Then there was the "in flight entertainment". The only way to see a movie, is through your phone. Download the app it's free. Yeah right. After all the research and fiddle farting that I went through to successfully download the app, on both of our phones, then the next annoyance...it didn't work. Not on either of our phones. Oh I had downloaded some games, just in case. They all claimed to work on planes and without wifi. Not true. Painful royal match and solitaire were the only choices left for us. Plenty else to amuse us in the short times. Maybe on the next flight it will be longer. No changing planes and straight through to Newy, next week.
