Re: Good morning daily
You wouldn't believe it.....
I pulled up in Peterborough to play golf. There was a plumber doing some work. We start talking and he reckons he knew the bus. Turns out, he used to drive it when it was in Balmoral in the 80s. I'm the 4th owner.

Re: Good morning daily
Sure is!
We were in Mt Isa in The Bus (m/h #2, a 21ft Coaster) when a bloke came up and introduced himself as a resident of the Mornington Peninsula on Port Philip Bay, SE of Melbourne.
He recognised our m/h as the former Community Bus which he used to catch to shop in Frankston!
(Still wearing its original livery, with “The Bus” in 18” letters on both sides!)
After some further discussion, he remembered chatting with SWMBO’s mother on The Bus!
On another occasion we pulled up in a small outback Qld town where the local park was available for free camping.
People in the van next door turned out to be living two streets away in our Melbourne suburb!
And… when we took Girt to Australian Motorhomes near Newcastle for some attention to a minor problem, the sales manager looked at her serial number and told us he owned the Winnie Explorer with the next number!

Had it parked out back to show us, so he wasn’t b/sh!tting us.

Good morning.
Today's agenda is to clean up all my tools that are spread around the floor of the shed
I didn't do it yesterday because Dave said to have the arvo off...
Then when the dew has gone...mow the lawns...
I did bump into a bloke last year who remembered my motorhome from a rally down Vic... but that wasn't me.
Did you get any golf
in Jon or was the day spent talking about your Bedford
Twas a bit cooler last night I actually pulled the sheet over me
.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Its a bright sunny day here on the GC, but that will change as we head south later on.
I spent most of yesty fluffing about and tidying up so the place doesn't look like a bomb site.
We are having breakfast at one of the local cafes with the young gkid then dropping him at his school. We'll head off after morning peak.
Enjoy your golf, wherever you finish up today Jon.
Don't overdo things today Bernie.
Take care all those out and about. Safe travels.

Na. There is a picking order in life.
Only about 30 minutes then the bloke said he had to go.
Morning all.
At Port Fairy with Alan and Lorelle. Going fishing from the wharf. Wind depending

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone, from a roadside rest area near Goulburn NSW. It's a bit fresh this morning.
We left home mid morning yesty and travelled down the Pacific highway. Ran into rain near Grafton. It was mostly showers until near Pt Macquarie and then the rain was really heavy. The Northconnex tunnel under Sydney was closed so all the traffic was sent along Pennant Hills road. That was fun. Hadn't been that was for many years.
Well get to Mulwala later this afternoon.
Safe travels everybody.
How's the fishing going Jon?

Re: Good morning daily
Morning all.
No fishing yet. Bit to windy for us to be comfortable. Maybe today for a few minutes or so.
No golf yet, tomorrow..... but someone has planned a 38* day at Port Fairy. Unheard of.
Can't be to bad, the course is fully booked.
