Well, I have come to the realisation that the trip to Sydney for the Every Thing Electric Show is not going to happen. Now I'll concentrate on getting things in order both with the Winnie and trailer, the house demolition and both our general health getting back to something manageable long term so we can travel.

Re: Good morning daily
It was a combination of the rush it would have been to get there, only to have to return for appointments, rather than a leisurely trip over and tripping around until Taggerty as was the original plan, and the concern that if I pushed myself too hard again, I could end up with a repeat dose of shingles ..... and I never want to go through that again ......
so, I'll just have to put up with the loss of the pre-purchased tickets .... I'll just tack that onto the trailer .... that now I would have had the time to get one built

Re: Good morning daily
So, why don't you cut your losses with the trailer that's not really suitable and send it back to the auctions.
Then get someone to build the trailer you want and spend some of your time doing the things that really need to be done. Or even do the things that you want to be doing.

Re: Good morning daily
T1,
With all the faffing around so far, maybe the Jim option and a standard Tilta-Trailer would be a simpler, more economical choice.
Unless you want some extras added to the trailer.
Even then, commissioning a welder to do them on a standard T-T might make more sense… and be less stressful, as well as expensive.
Food for thought?
Whatever, take it easy on yourself — and Margaret.

Good morning.
I had a bugga all day
still fiddling with the TV mount I'm not real happy with it..
I also removed the timber that was on my new car trailer, most of it was rotten from being out in the element's.
I'll probably remove the C channel and change it to that expanded metal stuff that is on the tilts trailers. That will make the tie downs easier.
But that's for another day
Nothing planned for today yet.
And we are back to bacon and eggs Sunday

Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning everyone.
The start of another week... used to matter once..
Just a bit of gardening yesterday giving herself a hand..
We...her... cleaned out the drawers in the motorhome apparently we had too many of everything...all were there when we bought it..
4 of everything right down to metal drinking straws..
.
I may have another thought about the TV mount, we'll see where that goes.
Carol will be off to bingo today...
And the big news news...the little red head
now has a car... Hyundai i40 diesel...
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. It's a bright sunny day here at Mulwala. Currently 26⁰ might get to 32, so the man says.
The wind has dropped for now, dunno for how long.
If I'm real lucky I might get to go fishn' this arvo, got a few little jobs to do first.
Well done to the little Red Head, Bernie. That should be a good little car.
Safe travels everybody.

Re: Good morning daily
Back from the eye clinic with a new lense fitted to the left eye, and the usual patch over it .... I can feel the sticky already burning the skin .... might have to take it off soon before the skin comes off .....
Have to be back there at 7:30 tomorrow morning, so an even earlier start from Mannum.
The MG4 went great, you don't realise how noisy cars are until you travel in one that doesn't make any engine and gearbox noise ..... just a slight wind up whine taking off and regen whine just as the vehicle stops ..... and adaptive cruise control is brilliant, set the number of seconds behind the vehicle in front and the max speed .... and it does the rest .... no more getting p*ssed off with the car in front continually varying their speed, no speed creep down hill or engine revving up hill to maintain the speed ...... and if the traffic suddenly slows in front, so does the car, maintaining that safe 3 sec distance ..... take a while to get the feel for it .... but absolutely magic for that run down the freeway into Adelaide ......
Margaret still hasn't got the nerve yet to allow the cruise control to handle the 60km/h and 50km/h through the city .... passing stationary traffic in the line beside you at 50 or 60km/h is just a tad too hard on the nerves .... keep waiting for some twit to pull out without checking their mirrors .... it probably could stop in time ..... but the change of clothes required make it not worth the potential excitement
Coffeee and some pills, then off to bed to relax the eyes .... the right eye is not accustomed to doing all the work and can't adjust focus from distance to close up ......
Yeah, I know it's all one long sentence, can't read what I wrote to add the new paragraphs where needed
I tried to break it up a bit
it is a still a bit one eyed though
