Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning All. A beautiful 22* here with a max of 24* forecast, along with some showers and light rain.

I am having difficulty tracking down some replacement slate floor tiles which have been broken. One company was supposed to send me a sample from Melbourne which didn't happen.

I sent a photo of the tiles to another company in Sydney and had no reply. I only need about 6 tiles so that they can be replaced and the complete floor be re-grouted.

Good morning everyone. Its 20⁰ by the lake now, heading for 33⁰. I think I'd rather be home to get prepared for the cyclone that might towards land. Or not.
We might get over to Corowa today if all goes well. That's the current plan, but .......
Good luck with the tiles George, sometimes people forget about you, if you only need a few little things.
Safe travels everybody, have a great week.
Dot still has not got good internet in NZ.

"tanks" here---
The weather report shows that Wyalkatchem WA is now at 24c at 07:00 and heading for 38c today.
That is a change from the 41c to 43c we recently experienced.
All going well with my breathing and sleeping.
I have now cancelled the Hospital meals delivered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday by volunteers.
The deal was a hot meal for the immediate use and a cold meal for heating in the microwave for the next day.
The cost was $15.50 each meal, and the quality was typical hospital type food which was nothing to write home about; not even worth a mention on the Forum!

I now receive Light & Easy frozen meals at $3.42 each meal. The quality, volume, and variety of the Light & Easy meal is by far superior, with a very wide and acceptable range of the meals available for personal selection.
There is a discount in the cost thanks to my Home Care Funding package, which the Wheatbelt Care Centre would not allow.
Light and Easy do not deliver to Wyalkatchem----however, the chemist in Goomalling (2 towns away) has arranged for delivery to his shop and he then delivers the esky to my house for me. You don't get that service in the big city, do you?
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

I could also order breakfast and lunch with desserts and drinks if desired for an additional cost that I do not require.

Thanks for the tip Tanks. My care provider is trying to get me to use the light n easy meals.
I like cooking so have been resisting but some times I am that drained before tea I am sometime pushed to a sandwich. I do cook for several days at a time, but perhaps I might have to give them a go.
Got the new co-ordinator coming on Thursday?. Can't keep up to them, they get new staff then they are gone
Apparently very toxic atmosphere in office.
