Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good afternoon All.
I just returned from my drive to far western Sydney, 320km, thinking I would get some matching slate tiles.
They didn't have anything like the sample photos I was sent so came home with nothing.

[edit] I forgot to say, Happy Anniversary Carol and Bernie!

you could get a slab and cut to size.... or you could get a slab, drink it and not worry about the tiles.

Gee George you are not having a great run. Many years ago, we found a place near Camperdown That did old tiles, in small numbers. Maybe try areas near Glebe (Sydney) they would possibly do some federation stuff. There is a huge market in terrace house restoration at the moment. I will leave the research to you . good luck with it.

It has been a huge windy day here. The van has rocked and rolled for most of the day. As this is a day of relaxation, we ventured into town and had a lovely lunch at a local cafe. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We did a bit of touristy driving around and the autumnal effects are lovely. Many trees are just starting to turn and look wintry.

Tomorrow we will head off to Glen Innes and see what we can find. The forecast is not looking friendly, but we will manage with whatever we find. The local council has taken over organising this event and they have done some things well, but other things are already starting to slip. The promise of updates and weather plans have not happened. Last year, we had such heavy storms on the Saturday, that some traders got so drenched that they packed up and went home. The council have suggested some forms of fancy tents may be available.... but no more has been heard and the forecast is looking even more scary this time around. Tomorrow when we land in Glen Innes, we may know more or maybe not.

night all xxx
Deborah

Not sure that is the area I'd be setting up outside stalls, what with the hurricane looking like it will run down the coast. If you are getting the strong winds already, the rain won't be far away I'm guessing. Stay safe, what ever you choose to do ....

Good morning.
The New boro pump in and working 😧, having the neighbours over made light work for the job.
I measured it when laying on the ground 84 feet, now 80 I cut four foot off it...and Carol wishing well is back together 😁😁..
Thanks for the anniversary wishes...
Herself was fiddling in the motorhome... putting new draws in...
I'm on to some bits I need for the trailer...more on that later.
No real plans for today.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning all,

Phoenix just had a heavy sedative so Harry could have a good look things. He was surprised by how little it had grown considering the pathology report. So, Mr P will have some more removed next week to just keep the throat free for eating and drinking. Not that he has trouble eating at the moment.

Nice garden Bernie. Grass looks stunning. How often do you mow it? ;)

I was going to ask how often he watered it .... about the lawns that look like that around these parts are the golf courses, no one else has the water available .....
