Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Welcome back Dot n G'man, now the rounds of medical stuff start all over again. Been a bit quiet around here too. :D :D xxxx

David, glad to see you arrived safely home to a happy house. You must have a guardian angel living close by. When you discover who they are, better buy them a crate of beer or something nice.

We have finished our rest days. Tomorrow , we head off to the showgrounds ( a few blocks away). I suggested that we stay here in the caravan park, but then we remembered the evening entertainment that is part of this event. We need to be able to find our beds asap, once each lot of mischief is over and always thinking of safe driving at night. So it's a moving day tomorrow.

nighty night xxx

Cuppa & Julie dropped in this afternoon for a visit, great to see them again. Had few drinks, Brian was visiting as well, so we had a good chat and ate just about all of Cuppa & Julie's garlic bread cooked up in the air fryer, Cuppa had a dive of the MG4 and was impressed, now I've dropped Brian home and it looks like it might be an early night ....

Well another day has come and gone saw the geriatrician at Flinders today (free carparking with disability sticker) :P He could not give any useful info but suggested I hassle the sleep clinic for the results. I posted the sad news about our friend BobK's passing and to top things off in that area HTFFBO's husb Paul has been having tests for a heart problem and will likely be having a "repair" to a valve soon, Helen was a touch cloudy on specifics so will keep you up with things. Watched the BOB's last night a very mixed bag of bad weather ranging from cold rain, sleet, and even snow, even one of the cars had a slippery smash. Deborah I had a compliment on my necklace today. :D Shower time so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Chuck x :D xxxx

Hey Dot, you really hit the medical stuff as soon as you landed mate. ;) Glad my pendant gave you some pleasantries... I always get attention when wearing a bit of my bling! Hope you get onto that sleep mob, they seem dodgy as heck . Bet lazy Brian is happy to see you xxxx

Today, we drove the few blocks with the van and have happily landed in the showgrounds, not too many dramas. Before we left the caravan park, we did a load of washing. As soon as we could, on arriving, we put the washing in the sun and it was all dry by 4pm. That was a great victory. We are hoping that the washing can now be left until we go home next week...plenty of clean clothes now.

The sunshine here is not so traditional. Many times, here, we have had to fight through mud and poor patronage. Looks like being a lot better than last weekend....fingers are all crossed. Tomorrow, we set up the display and trading is Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully, not to slow and not too hectic... time will tell.

It was hot today but tomorrow is going to be a ripper "so they say" expecting 40degs so the birds misting fan will be on all day and Brian will be on the bed all day loving the air con. Had to water the bamboo with seasol as they had suffered while we were away, guess they will recover ok in time. My hoyas have done very well which I didn't expect. Feeling like a feed of NZ Fush n Chups right now, Oh they are the best in the world for sure. Hope sales do well for you Deborah. Shower time so take care everyone. Goodnight one and all :D x Goodnight Shirley x :D

Dot nothing will kill bamboo, so don't worry if it looks dehydrated, it will spring back very quickly. Stay cool mate xxxx

Today has been very busy. I went over to the hall to set up the stall and it took me most of the day. I fiddled around and moved things a few times until I was happy. This is the only event where I can display absolutely everything that I have made (and not yet sold) . Most of the plates are up on the shelves behind the tables and it looks pretty spectacular to me, so I am happy now. It took until 4pm until I was satisfied with the job, but it's done now.
Tonight we had the traders sausage sizzle and it was pretty good fun, as usual. Now I am exhausted, so off to bed. To read.

In some council areas bamboo is classed as a noxious weed & must be eradicated.
There are many hundreds of cultivars though.
There is one that grows well in SA that the Zoo will come & collect & pay for. Pandas need it for food.
