I think they are both spoilt little rich kids that needed a serious boot up the butt when they were younger so they learnt how to play nice with others .... living in a world of lies and make believe will lose you all your true friends and just leave the hangers on that hope you will throw some money their way, not realising that the assumed wealth is nothing more than an illusion while they live in a fool's paradise. You can't actually be rich by living on borrowed money, you need the assets and income to support it.supersparky wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 10:01 pm Maybe, he's all part of the Donald's retaliation program. If I recall anywhere near correctly, all those that didn't support him last time he was POTUS, they will suffer his wrath.
At the end of the day, it is US politics and whatever we think, say, or do, matters for nought in the grand scale of things..
Having said that, I care less for Musk than I do for the Donald.
Those that think this will not flow onto Australia are deluding themselves. Like it or not, Australia is part of a world economy and anything that affects the smooth flow of goods and finance in the rest of the world, will certainly impact us.
Our exports rely on digging it up or growing it, we do have value added products now and a market for those goods, but they are the ones that get thrashed as soon as an economic storm looms anywhere .... like how I tied that into the hurricane that can't make up it's mind where to strike?
