Terry, an approach might be to say that the business has closed and therefore, no T1 Lithium has no product indemnity insurance. Hence, you cannot take on any more work. Sorry.... you'll need to look elsewhere. No idea if she is coming home today, or even tomorrow, so the job that was supposed to be here tomorrow, fixing yet another F up created by a complete numb skull, on the "Bus from Hell", the very last job out before the workshop turned into a pile of ash, will need to be postponed to a time yet to be determined .... and I received a phone call a few days ago, asking what parts they had to bring for me to install their new inverter and change over switch etc ..... that I didn't even know I was signed up to do ...I'm guessing it was very clever wording to Margaret that she didn't realise she had signed me up for the job ....
This customer sent me photos of the install, I can't remember much about it ..... but it certainly doesn't look like a fun job either .... and I have enough "not fun jobs" of my own to even get started on, that must be finished before we had off towards the end of April to attend the friends get together in King Valley, then off to Taggerty .... gotta make it on time for this one, I need that third spoon
Good morning daily

Good Morning All from Brighton, UK time. Our 1st day of sunshine with max of 17* forecast.
We have been travelling around southern UK just taking in the sights with our daughter, Leonie, and her partner Dylan.
I may post a few photos if I manage to take my camera with us. I left my phone at home just so I don't have to carry it around.

Re: Good morning daily
The start batteries failed and they were on the inside of the slideout tray. The body moves around so much, it friction welded the battery tray slide to a steel reinforcing/mounting bar that holds the grille and fibreglass front piece ..... so they couldn't slide it out to get to the monster lead acid batteries.supersparky wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 3:24 pm T1, if my memory is half way correct, you had far too much fun (not) playing with the bus from hell.
There was a bit of a running progress thread on how it was all going, at the time. Also remember something along the lines of, " glad it's gone, never want to see it again."
Good luck.
All the best for Margaret. Get well soon.
Instead of simply removing the 4 screws that anchor each of the 4 LFP house battery packs to the frame, they took out the 6 x 4mm screws that hold the stainless straps in place on the aluminium end plates, so the battery pack is held in compression, resulting in stripping the taped threads out of the end plates .... then took out the screws that held it in the frame, so they could remove each of the cells

They didn't recompress the cell packs, or screw them down ... of remember to tighten all the cell terminal bolts.
The battery dropping voltage when the air conditioning was on, was just a matter of tightening the terminal bolts so there were 4 x 100Ah cells contributing to the current draw, not 1 x 100ah cell in a few of the 3.2v packs .... but the cells now need to be compressed, possibly 4 mm helicoils in the stripped-out holes, and then the 4 x 400Ah cell packs reinstalled ......
Simply driving a steel wedge up the side of the friction welded slide, which they did after they had removed all batteries, and the drawer could have been slide-out as designed and made life so much easier for everyone

Nearly good morning. Get well soon Margaret hope all will be ok from now on with your foot but you still have the other issue to contend with

Good morning everyone and Dot.
I fooled around with the trailer clearance lights, all done and believe it or not... working.
We had rain
all around us yesterday but as we live in elsewhere...we got none
.
Update on our son... they couldn't do the heart with the jumper leads... they found blood clots
.
So the plan now is to let him come home for 6 weeks taking whatever they've prescribed for him...then do the zap... his heart rate has lowed .... that's a good thing...
And his breathing is also back to normal... apparently fluid in the chest cavity was the problem there....
So he should be home by the weekend...
George they have invented pockets for putting phones in
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning All. It reached about 10* with clear blue sky and the occasional stiff breeze.
We spent the day driving to and walking around Portsmouth in winter jackets.

Morning all.
sunny day.
Two things to do, adjust tappets and finish stumps. Can't be bothered with either. Might just drink coffee and do nothing.
Bernie, good to hear the your son is settling down.
