Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

George, you need to add rabbits to your list. And maybe pigs and buffalo, depending on location. There are plenty of introduced species that have no rightful place in Australia, but they are here now, and unfortunately, here to stay.
Deborah, I think the 54 cents will cause someone in DMT or whatever its called now, to have some stress leave. Lucky you keep lists. :D

Dave, I intended to include rabbits but was distracted by a noisy cat.

Probably posted before, when we owned a milk run many, many moons ago you could smell the houses that owned cats, really turned me off cats the stink was putrid in the still of night. 😡

My g’daughter bought a desexed kitten, called him Preston at first he was totally an inside cat but now he has a collar with a location cam thingo on it & she lets him out to wander.

You're right about the tomcat smell Shirley. It's not very pleasant, is it.
One of our neighbours allows their cat to roam at night. Every now and then you will see a little pile of feathers somewhere nearby.
Bandit used to keep the cats away from our yard, as we put out feed for the wild birds. It will be interesting to see what happens now.

A breed of cat is actually native, the Tasmanian spotted cat, but the orange ones are decedents of Chinese breed cats that were used for temple ceremonial sacrifice ...... that should please some of you  The cats from Egyptian times were huge, they found remains buried with some one important person or another ...... more the size of lions than domestic cats ....

The worst thing the English imported was whinging poms and union officials ..... not allowed to control that population with the click bang method ..... or the learn to swim method ..... although there might have been a few that failed that test in the early days of the Port Kembla water-front disputes ...... but the turn of the tide took them out for a scenic trip around the 5 Islands ;)

Brian said to tell all you cat aka Pussy haters to get stuffed and he does not smell in any shape or form. BUT if not for the British none of you would be here  but my family and I came here voluntary. Went to get results of my sleep study and nothing to worry about there just a couple of little things and nothing directly connected to my fatigue /tiredness. Got home , had a nanny nap then hit the garden trimming again and moved pot plants under cover for winter. Garden man coming on Friday to treat the grass for the pre emergent weeds. G had his flu jab and his 5 free visits to medical treatments of his choice, I get mine Friday when I see my GP. Bus going to the man for him to fit the shockies at 0830 AM  Deborah just get the garden person in and say nothing OR do a Dot and tell him to go do it himself.  The shutters are being replaced with thicker newer ones and the old ones will be used elsewhere, the old ones are 27yrs old.Click bang method hey! going to be very useful heading North, must get some more pop pops.Time for a nice warm shower, it was a bit chilly today and I am tired again. Take care one and all. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Riverlander x :D

Ummm....... In that case, if it wasn't for the Romans, there wouldn't be any British? But then the Vikings fit in there somewhere ...... If it wasn't for the poms needing somewhere to dump their excess prisoners, the French would have colonised and we might have ended up like Canada .....

Or maybe the Dutch, or even as some believe, the Portugese.

Dot, nobody said you are an irresponsible cat owner. Quite the opposite actually. It's the others that I have no time for. The damage that feral animals do is hard to imagine, unless you take a visit to the countryside every now and then. Do it in the dark and it's even more obvious, if you care to look. And it's not just cats.
Dogs, rabbits, deer and a raft of others.

Dot, Brian doesn't get counted in that list. He is so well behaved and your wildlife is not at risk with Brian around. I am certainly an advocate for keeping cats out of the wild and not allowing them to leave an enclosed area, unless on a lead. We try to get dog owners to comply but they don't manage that much, so how would we expect cat owners to follow those rules. Our state gov is trying to introduce it, but I reserve judgement..... As far as our heritage, I am only a half pommy the rest is Welsh and Danish and no convict traces that I can find. We were all imports in some way. Our earlier inhabitants allegedly wandered across the lands from Asia, so who knows who we really are? Slow gardening there Dotty, xxxx

I ordered a gas replacement cylinder for the house yesterday. I was woken by them delivering it at 7:15 this am. That's the quickest they have delivered , but they were extra noisy...pita.

We managed to avoid peak hour traffic and are now settled in Western Sydney. Vineyard is the edges of the town, but the city is creeping closer every time we visit. There are so many little boxes being built on the hillside, that it's almost a slum in the making. No playgrounds or decent roads, but lovely houses almost touching each other.
David, you may be right. I could cause some beaurocrat to have a melt down. Their web page still says that the rego hasn't been paid, so looks like a trip to Toukley roads office when we get back next week. Probably better to do this in person so I can show them all my receipts.

This is a quiet place, but tonight our peace was interrupted by a knock on the door. Our neighbour is doing a course in order to start her own cheese cake shop in Bundaberg. Would we please take her cream sponge from today's lessons. His nibs was in his element, super sweet and creamy. I must find a little something for her to thank her. I am sure to have a pendant (or a few hundred) in the truck to give her one tomorrow.

night all xxx
Deborah
