Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning.
Finally sold the bed we had for sale... incredible how many people say they are coming to look... and never turn up 😑 ... young couple from Childers now own it...
One of the neighbours dropped in for a chat... there goes a cuppla hours 😁😁..he came bearing veggies... over supply in his garden...
And today we are going to the big smoke...yer I know a week and a day early for this month... but herself doesn't want to go later because of the Easter holidays... bedlam.πŸ˜πŸ€”.
A bit fresh this morning... but will end up in the bottom 30s...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone.
T1 , don't worry about anything for a while. You just need to help Marg get through this, and have a complete and total recovery. Everything else doesn't matter.
All the best Margaret.
Safe travels everyone that will be on the roads this Easter.
Cheers

Morning everyone.
BIG day yesterday 😊, we didn't get home till after 4 pm.
Started off with a phone call to the little red head on the Hands free.. she was to catch up with us ,but her circumstances changed...so that was a no no πŸ˜₯
Caught up with a mate I used to work with... now have all the gossip 😁..
Then bumped into an old neighbour from when we owned the farm..more gossip 😁,then later on caught up with another mate I used to work with...no gossip there...
Apparently we needed more flowers... from Bunnings..
and I bought some Bird 🐦 netting... I'll beat those catapillers now.... maybe πŸ€”πŸ€”
So a long day...
Nothing planned for today yet.
Keep safe.

If the green house is bird proof, you need to get some finches and a few other breeds of insect eating birds, build a bird trap entry, so there is a chamber between the outside door and the inside door, to avoid any opportunist escapes .... and later entries, and they will sort the insect and caterpillar problems without needing to spray anything. Margaret and her ex grew apricots, peaches and nectarines in a big bird house .... never had even a blemish on any of the fruit, and the Illawarra is a fruit fly terror area. If we do rebuild, the kale and other grub problem vegies will be grown in a big finch cage ........ and I might have another try at a fig plant, the cage will keep the fruit eating birds out, maybe a mandarin tree as well, we only even find the orange skins from the sad looking tree we have

How much fun is washing day  It is as hot and sticky as .... to be uncomfortable ;)
Bought one of these a while back https://trade.bunnings.com.au/shelter-l ... s_p0036257 .... then bought the awnings and shade cloth and put that up instead.
Decided I might get more done on the trailer if I had some sun shade over it, so started assembling it today ..... did I mention it was hot and sticky here today ..... the box is unpacked, the instruction pictures looked at and retained for part number identification, and half of one end of the roof rails is assembled ...... I'm close to melting now, so another coffee, washing should be ready to hang out and the next load in ..... then ..... we will wait and see if I have enough left in me to continue the assembly process .....

We don't want " pet's" Terry, we only have seed eating and honey type bird's here...we do have Pee-wee's Magpies apostles birds of different species of. None of what I would want in the garden...
The other reason for not wanting pets... travel...
I don't know how the moths get in... obviously at night.
And some apparently can lay up to 5/600 eggs depending on the species
Cuppla pictures' one showing the green "white" house.the other the bird netting I bought yesterday, obviously not finished but will do till I get some timber to make a secure cover. There are seedings in the covered one...

The shelter/carport is up, but at about Deborah height at the moment
shelter carport 1.jpg
shelter carport 2.jpg
It goes up another mtr roughly when I figure out where I'm gunna tie it down to .... maybe drive the Mercedes up beside it, or drag the Lexus over there ...... that might be a better choice, not like grinding sparks are going to do any more damage to it
