No point ringing Carol, she'll deny it.
Not to worry Bernie, lasagna for Sat night dinner. You'll be fine.
I voted today..... ran the gauntlet and grabbed the how to vote slips and into the hall. Got my voting slip, to the booth and duh.....
The hall is supporting 3 electorates. I got the how to vote slips for the wrong electorate.... hee-haw, hew- haw, he-hall-ways finds a way to vote.

Re: Good morning daily
We tried to vote early on Tuesday.
AEC website said the voting station was 45km away in Wangaratta and as we had to go to the town for a medical appointment anyway, we thought we’d kill two birds with one stone.
AEC website said polling station was on a particular street. Even put a little flag on Google Maps.
Obediently followed the GPS. Not only was there no polling station in sight, but the side street the flag marked didn’t exist… it was a vacant house block. (Shouldn’t be surprised at that. Our driveway is marked as a public road!)
SO… detour to the local Member of Parliament’s office for accurate directions.
The polling station is on the other side of the railway line, on a different street which appears on the map to be a continuation of the specified road — but isn’t.
We turned around and followed the GPS again (crossing the railway twice, unnecessarily) and eventually found our target, only to see the queue trailing out the door and ¾ of the way down the carpark.
Didn’t bother stopping. Just rolled past the queue, out the carpark exit and home again.
We’ll vote on the day — 600m from home.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone.
It's Anzac day. I'll be off to the local dawn service shortly. It gets bigger every year here.
We went to the local pre polling place before lunch yesty. The queue was out the door, so we went shopping and tried again. The queue was well into the carpark. Went back at 4.30pm and hardly anyone there.
It looks like quite a lot of us oldies have already made up their minds who they are voting for regardless of whatever it is that Albo or Dutton will come up with.
Safe travels everybody.
Lest we forget.

Good morning... from down town wherever...it's not on the map
...I missed the camp spot I was going to stay at...no indication on the road side... and in a 110 speed zone not wise to dilly around... there was one about 15Ks back but inclined to not back track
So I'm in NSW about 20 or so Ks from Gundy...
I may or may not stay here today..
Just me and three caravans here... one with a small Genny running... may have a C Pap machine??
Keep safe.
Bernie.
