Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning All. Mostly cloudy sky with showers forecast over the next couple of hours.
I woke at 8am with a vey painful lower back, which has been occuring for some time now. I have tried sleeping on the bed in room 2 wihout a problem. It mat be time to purchase a new matress.

Nothing much happening otherwise but just wish it would stop raining for at least a couple of days so that I could trim the tree that overhangs our driveway. Doing so would avoid damage to the solar panels on the bus.

"tanks" here----
Today is full of activity. First up is a trip to the Chemist in Goomalling for some much-needed pain medication and other things that keep me breathing and mobile.
I drop off the scripts at my friendly chemist and then drive to Northam, where I attack the supermarkets for everything I don't need.
After shopping and resting, I then head back to Goomalling, get the medications from my good friend the chemist, and then return to Wyalkatchem. All up, I have driven over 250 km. \
Now I can enjoy a cuppa while my housekeeper unloads the car and finds a place in the pantry to store all of the items that I don't really need now that I'm getting Light & Easy frozen meals.
It is nice to get out of the house and have a longish drive in the Yellow Mighty MG . Stay safe everyone.
Now I only have to wait till Monday for the wheelie bin truck
Keith
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Keith,
I'm glad i don't have to drive 250Km to do the grocery and medicine shopping. Thankfully, I can get it done in 2.5Km.

Keith, have you checked the local IGA or Foodworks for the latest specials. Cornettos and Mini Drumsticks were on special over the weekend at Mulwala.
Cheers

Lucky you, George!
As you might recall, our fortnightly shopping expedition clocks up about 100km. 🚗
We’re also glad it’s not 250km… 🫢😅

Then again, country living has its advantages. 😊
Son-&-Heir sent me a photo of his car dashboard after a trip to work t’other day:

18km journey — just short of one hour! 😳
No wonder he prefers to ride his motorcycle 🏍️ on days he’s required at the office!

It takes us 30~35 minutes to drive the 50km to Albury Base Hospital for my chemo sessions…

That's another thing that is close to home, John Hunter Hospital.

George,
We consider it a ‘busy peak-hour’ if I have to wait for three cars to pass before I can exit our driveway… and that’s on a listed Highway.
😁

Morning everyone.
Not much to report...I had the day off 😂.
I did clean the stove in the motorhome... before I was in trouble 😁😁.
I'm guessing you're home by now Dave...
How's the project coming along Jon ?
Nothing planned for today yet...
I gave my neighbour over the back my front number plate from the motorhome...to get it straight again...it took the brunt of the impact with the road when the bracket broke.. plus to take his mind off his little dog who hasn't much time left 🥲🥲.
He done a great job... almost like new...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning all.

Boys 19th yesterday. Echoing someone famous 'unbelievable'.

Bernie, slowly. Thinking about the bores and pistons. There is about 0.4 total gap between the piston and wall. Waiting on an inside mircometer to measure things up accurately.

Air compressor rings are shot, Isuzu gave me the wrong ones. Going back today. Isuzu parts are quite cheap. AC rings, gaskets are $108. OEM steel head gasket cheaper than after market.

Good morning everyone. We have spent the night at Coffs Harbour. Stayed at a CPk. $75 p/n. Having brekky at the surf club overlooking the ocean.
Will be home this arvo, hopefully.
Everything is so green from Sydney northward, unlike down south where it's dry as a chip.
Happy birthday Luke and Josh.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers
