Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I couldn't get the 7MW inverter to fit, in fact, I couldn't even lift it off the semi
The 5kva inverter works great though, just needs me to do a bit of rewiring so the inverter powers the air conditioning.

So much for the big battery over the back making sure Mannum had plenty of power. The tight arses at SA power pulled the links to the big transformer that was paid for by the previous owner of the workshop, so now when everyone turns their air conditioner on to heating, the line voltage drops to 185vac, the inverter can handle 195vac as a low input, so if the line voltage drops below that, the inverter kicks in, then the line voltage comes up a bit, and it clunks as it switches out .... then the cycle repeats

Margaret was in the big smoke today and I got her to get the resistors I needed to set up the V2L from the MG, they can stick their crappy grid power ......

That kinda sucks and is probably even against their own regulation. It's usually +/- 5% . Nevertheless, from what I've heard from a few blokes that I know down SA way, the supply authority sucks anyway. I hope all goes well with the off grid plan.

It was 190vac before I plugged the car in, so I dropped the charge rate back to 6amps from the mains, the inverter kicked in so now the house battery is supplementing the mains power via the inverter, the air con is running and the voltage to the car charger went up, just reheated some potato chip wedges from last night in the microwave ..... all working great, it's just a matter of turning them on in the right sequence so the inverter supplements the crap mains voltage .... and somehow, the inverter limits how much it draws from the mains to keep the voltage up :?

Good morning All. 16* with 20* forecast and a bright blue sunny sky.
Thankfully, it appears the rain has gone for a while. On Wednesday we attended the funeral for BIL's brother and neice and the actual burial was carried out at a cemetery with umbrellas held high while we stood in wet and soggy ground. By the time I arrived home my casual dress shoes, which I have not worn for wuite some time, were completely ruined and thrown in the bin.

I spent yesterday removing sheets and pillow cases from the MH, washing and drying them and folding them up rather than putting them on the bed straight away.

Good morning everyone. We've had a few light showers of rain overnight. Don't think it will challenge the rain gauge much.
Spent a bit of time doing yard work yesty and not much else.
Probably do the same doing after a trip to the big green shed.
I hope those down south are starting to dry out a bit now.
Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

Good morning everyone,
I played in the 1st round of the mixed pairs yesterday, we won 21-13 feeling happy with the win, was good to have a dry day.

Deborah has posted all about our weather conditions, sounds like they have had more rainfall than us even though we live a short distance from her, the rain often seems to skirt around us. The lake is really high & our jetty was over a foot under water all day Friday, I pulled several lumps of wood, thick tree branches & a fence post out of the water definitely marine hazards to leave afloat. News tonight predicted more rain this coming week.

Dot amazing to think that it has been 11 years since you shaved your head, great memories & photos of the event, we have our Breast Cancer morning tea next Thursday at bowls.

We are having a bulk collection of rubbish on Tuesday so will be busy placing everything out on the kerb, we have to go to Newcastle on Monday hopefully it doesn’t rain.

Good morning everyone.
Well done Shirley...it's certainly been a lot of rain down the mid coast of NSW..
I got off my bum yesterday and started cutting the hedge along the back of our property...one side done hopefully the other side today...then the top...
Maybe Monday....I noticed the mock orange stating to bud up...may have rain coming...
Next door went to Curra for a swap meet on Friday supposed to be home tomorrow... they came back yesterday arvo... first time taking the dog.... apparently he played up that much they came home 😳🤯
But guess what...it's bacon and eggs day 🥰🤩.
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.
