Yesterday I/we finally got all the benches cut to size...
All I have to do with them now is complete the sanding.
Early this morning I will be off to Childers to see if I can procure said flexible gas hose...
It would be good if it was on wheels Terry instead of leg's tiz a might heavy 🤬
And the self cleaner is still in bed 😂
Bernie.

Nice kitchen and stove Bernie, my new project is still my old one, the bike and side car. Which hasn't gone very far as having trouble getting a decent 10 inch mag wheel for it, but hopefully today that will be resolved. Now going to do some airbrush practising and design the paint job before painting, have prepared the sidecar for painting and decided to do the truck as well and sell it as have built a dual axle big tipping trailer. But first, have to replace the turbo on my cruiser as it blew when was only 40klms from home and had to limp home and order as new turbo which should arrive in the next day or so.

Yesterday's trip to Childers turned out to be a trip to Bundaberg..I had done about 250 Ks before I got home.
And as I told Carol that I had to go to Bundy... she said pick up another 300mm base cupboard 😡🤬.
Very droll Jon 😁.
Anyway I got the necessary bibs and bob's...
So we had our first meals cooked on the stove...
Today will be taken up with sanding.
Bernie.

I was thinkinking that your new stove was a bit rusty or something. Then I realised that you haven't peeled the protective film off the side of it.
Your install looks good. So does your meal.
Cheers

Good morning.
Well my sanding didn't get done... when Carol got up and came to th lounge room...she uttered those famous words.....I've been thinking....so once these words are uttered...all bets are off...
So I had to take out the 350 and the 100 cupboards in the kitchen and replace them with a 450 cupboard we had in the laundry.... and inturn put the other two back in the laundry... all of which took most of the day...

On another note
The new gas hose kinks when the stove is pushed into its place.... it's 1200 long and the only size Ken's plumbing had...600 would have been good..
Any thoughts on how to overcome this small problem ?
Bernie.

Do cupboards sit on a base, any room between floor & base of cabinet. Else cut a hole in side of cabinet and feed excess in there I am sure Carol won’t mind 😀

First, the Jon D modelled answer ... Yean Nah ;)

The more involved solution I'm suggesting ......
Coil the hose and hold in place using cable ties, or a length of spring wire coiled as needed and the hose cabled tied to the wire ..... this way, the spring coil is expanded as the stove is slide out, then retracts into its normal coiled shape the stove is moved back into place .....

As for the legs and not wheels, you can buy pads to go under the legs so they will slide easily, or roller tracks for under the feet as used for big refrigerators .....
