Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Yesterday was full on go from opening the eyes at 5:30 till closing them again in bed, just after midnight.

The $37 Bargain hire car turned into an $81 outlay, to avoid the $15,500 excess .... yeah, the cost of a replacement car ..... turns out, it was a good choice, scrapped the paint on the left hand corner of the front bumper reversing into a very narrow laned spot in a very old parking station ...... they won't get that fixed for $44 .... but then, I know they won't actually get it fixed anyway ..... but at least I avoided that drain on the bank account .... the $81 plus $5 worth of fuel I used, would have covered a few taxi rides ....

Getting back home was another exercise in patience, getting to the rail stn to get the train to the Illawarra line, took longer than planned, so I missed the connecting train by 3 mins, so another hr waiting for the next train ..... meant Margaret was up until close to midnight waiting for the phone all that the train was leaving Wollongong ..... then it stopped at every stn from there to Oak Flats

The crazy thing, the train was very close full, all double deck carriages and 10 of them

Busy day Terry. Was the plane trip a bumpy one as we had more wind n rain last night. Bernie tell your son to present to A&E saying he has been short of breath and has had chest pain. Works every time. Good old Qld health, I rang G's gp asked him to send referral to my back man, I rang the Specialists this pm and the referral had just arrived. It will be looked at tomorrow and then appointment will be made within 3 weeks. Such a difference hey.You must keep pushing, ring every day for any cancellations. Poor jd and the old nose drilling, hope you can breathe through your mouth with those tampons up the snoz.

I'm not sure if there is packing or not.

Can breathe quite well. Although I woke up really cold and sore. That settled down in about 40 minutes after the heater was turned on and painkillers added.

Get this, the menu is 5 pages long. Order any time between 7am and 7pm.

Main course page. Starts at 11.

Wow jd, worth going into hosp for that menu. No bending over or sneezing. Sometimes they put things like tampons or slithery jelly like tampons up there but when they pull them out yuk and ouch, Hope all goes well. Is Mr Phoenix coming in for a visit?

As we were dropping down towards the clouds preparing to land at Adelaide airport, you could see the lightening zapping between and through the clouds ..... the couple beside me hadn't flow very often and I pointed it out about how spectacular it was and that this will be a landing they'll remember for a long time
When captain crash finally slammed us into the runway somewhere around 10 am local time.... the chief hostess, with a very cheeky laugh in her voice said over the speakers "And welcome to Adelaide, we're on the ground now and taxiing to the terminal, thank you for flying Jetstar"

I've watched a few You Tube videos where planes drop one second and bounce back up the next, then does a near sideways landing in the belting rain .... I think I actually got to experience what that would feel like from inside the plane
The pilot, much to his credit, didn't spend very long getting through the clouds, but the sense of going up, down, sideways, forward and virtually stopped, in quick succession was quite different in a bigger plane than it was in the crop dusters when I was in Tassie .... and this pilot wasn't doing it intentionally either

I dodged a bullet yesterday... herself came out with those scary word's again...but... added at a future date 😁😇.
Most of yesterday was in the kitchen...
Plus the normal gardening we do.
This morning was 2 degrees cooler inside... don't know what it is outside...
I think I will get back to the sanding finally today... maybe.
Dot that's how our son presented himself in the first instance...
Keep safe

Morning all.

Bit of a restless night and headache. Maybe from the lack of caffeine for 24 hours.

When the boys were born, the spent 10 weeks in special care. Each morning the had a small dose of caffeine to keep them alert. It was a new strategy over other stimulants which had unwanted side effects.

Bernie, hope your son is ok. Sounds like he really needs to get to the cardiologist for the referral. If he can't make an appointment quickly, try getting his doctor to ring up on his behalf. Most medicos keep a slot available each day for emergencies.

G'day all. I musta forgot to hit submit again this morning. It's a beautiful sunny day here today. The yucky wind and rain has blown away. All the travellers are home now, even though my son and his family had a bit of a drama getting from Amsterdam to Dubai after Iran reacted to not having a nuclear facility anymore.
The gkid and his mates made it back from Bali, and all is now well in our world.
I've got the trailer on the concrete pad now so I can check the axle for bend and deflection when I load up the Jimny. Our new awning is on, and the black poles create a bit of difference, apparently.
Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers
David
