Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
Spent an interesting hr or so turn the Winnie around so the rear end is up the driveway and the nose pointing out. The rear was up on the full extent of the hydraulic levelling legs before and with 125kmh winds forecast, thought it might be better to get the sleeping end up between the houses for a bit of shelter. Rain has just started, it is rather warm and very humid at the moment, so all the signs of an interesting night and maybe a few days ahead.
Had to put timbers down to get the Winnie towbar up high enough to get up the driveway as the slabs are no longer all even and it was catching on the lip of the next slab up the driveway ..... with the Winnie across one lane and halfway across the other .... and heading towards midnight ...... but we got it back in and all set up ..... and I think we are still married

Good luck with the lamby Dot. Do share which one you will go with, and the results. I like my lamb to be totally fall to bits tender and properly cooked. None of the "modern" ways of plating up pink or bloody meat. To me that's Neanderthal. xxxx
Rav has had it's service and all is well. The op shop were happy with our boot full of packages and then we came home to get on the blower about the caravan.
After an hour and half wait for the insurance, I finally found that the repairer had not put in their assessors forms for the insurance company to then send them off to their assessors. I rang the repairers and they had me on hold, when I received a text from the insurers that the claim assessment had finally been lodged (after they put a bomb under the repairer). The next step is to wait up to 2 weeks for the insurance co to assess the forms and then the repairer will start to order the parts. I have paid for the parts today, to hustle the process along, and have been promised that they will do the ordering tomorrow. I will be ringing on Wednesday to check what they have ordered. The insurance company told me that they are watching this slow claim and will black list the company if we don't get our van back soon. I was very happy to give the repairer's manager this news and suddenly I was getting a lot more respect and I think may have rattled them enough to get them onto it.
Our climate is now back to being another East Coast Low. They have promised that it won't be as bad or long as the last one, time will tell. So far, the rain is strong, but not torrential and the winds are non existent. Fingers are crossed that this one goes away as soon as the predictions say (Friday it will leave us, maybe).
It started raining it the Illawarra around 8:30, 20:30 Ray time, and hasn't eased up at all since. Had to rescue the extension lead plug out of the lake that formed in our friends front yard by this morning, it is now at the point of continuous flow across the grass, over the nature strip and into the gutter. Fortunately, her place is at the top of a bit of a hill, the ones down on the low lands have full water front views .... all the way to the centre line on the road .......
I had forgotten about the weather events that made you think twice about an underground carpark and drive around to a shopping centre that had above ground covered carparks with the entrance at about the 3rd level The Aldi carpark was an ocean, I'm guessing the drains were either blocked or couldn't carry any more water ..... yeah, I don't miss this part at all .....

Deborah n Shirley, I am going to to do some reading of my dream pot and see if I can try the lamb in that and I will let you know. Seen on the tv about the rain bomb in NSW and I heard Illawarra mentioned so take care all you lot up there. T1 may find his plug in will be off ?? My M8 in NZ also said they are also expecting a rain bomb. G headed to the city at 0700 for his appointment with the nerve conduction man and came home with some answers about G's leg woes. Looks like the problem is coming from his back and the man will have the results ready for my back man on Thursday so then we shall know what happens next. I was on my way for my dyke cut and there was road works outside the hosp and I looked over and saw a man on a trolley with a cover over him being loaded into the van that picks up dead people, How did I know it was a man? well the wind blew the cover from over his face/chest.This was happening roughly 50mts off the main rd when cars were at a stand still. Interesting I would say not. G has made a vanilla mud cake and just putting the icing on. What ever he is thinking of getting the answer will be "no way "Jose". George I hope you get some answers for y our pains, did you have a bone density scan and bloods? Hope Carol is being waited upon Bernie and the snoz is improving, do you have black eyes jd? Get better all you sickies and safe travels. Goodnight one and all x Goodnight Robert n Bob x

Terry, why are you plugged into power? don't you have lith and solar? asking for a friend.
600Ah @ 12v sodium ion batteries and very little solar at the moment, just ran out of time. But we plug into the MG4 using the V2L when free camping and that has an LFP battery in it (Lithium Ferrous Phosphate) and we didn't recharge it for the 3 days we free camped using the MG to power the Air Con to heat the Winnie ... as well as all the other 240vac stuff we use. The only gas appliance is the 4 burner stove, we don't even use the gas for the hot water or the fridge, 240vac just works that much better .....
