Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, hope you get a better night's sleep tonight. Jayco boys must be tough, It's all about the poor man image of jayco!!! They have a lot more to prove than the volvo team. xxxx

Had another freezing day today. The sun was meant come out, but it appeared very late and disappeared almost as fast. We are freezing here with a wind chill that's amazingly frozen. Any washing would have been turned to icecubes today, so it didn't get done. Don't think this week will get any better either.

Like Mr G., I had a poor sleep last night, but managed to get extra zzzzs in until 11 am today. I think my best sleeps happen after the 6am pee break!
The only success that I have had today was a super chocolatey slice that I made to keep our spirits up. It may last a couple of days, or maybe not. Chocolate is a vegetable right?

night all xxx

Gee Dot, your home will be so sparkly clean that you won't want to get the floors dirty. Watch out Brian, the hairbrushes and towels will be chasing you everytime that you come inside. xxxx

Today the wind was so strong again that it would blow an elephant off said chain. His nibs did try a load of washing on the new line. He gets up earlier than me. There was so much ice in the wind that the clothes still needed a few hours in front of the heater tonight. It was really good to see the new line in action.

There was no rain here, just icecubes. I reckon we are still going to be having snow in September. It is too cold to venture out for any length of time, that's for sure.

Stay warm you lot,
night all xxx

Tanks in the Wheatbelt Winter, where the cold winds come straight off the desert.
The outside temp here has now reached 10`c .
Today's range is 2c to 11c.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Is it still raining Dot? Sounds like your drought has ended, but it's still too cold to check the raingauge right? xxxx

George, your verandah looks really schmick. When it works out so well, it's almost worth the pain in the painting.

Keith, You are definitely in a colder climate than us. Right now it's allegedly 12 degrees but the phone say the wind chill makes it feel like 6. I think closer to 1, but I am just not liking the cold this year.

I decided that it's too cold to go to my shed and the wind is just not very kind to us, so I started on sorting photos of the Adelaide trip, back in February. Most of the pics are of the same exhibition, but over 4 different visits at four different times of day. There are only around three thousand photos and I want to put them into a book. Obviously not all the photos will be wanted as there are many of the same installations. I got a start on the job today, but still not the finished product yet. I think it may be a work of patience and it will take a long time yet.

stay warm wherever you are

Tanks,
Just count your blessings, and consider yourself lucky you didn’t choose to move to Mt Buller in the Victorian High Country.
BoM forecast for today:
Overnight minimum: 0
Maximum today: 0

Dot, have you been locked out in the cold mate? xxxx

Ray, now I feel guilty for complaining bitterly about it being the coldest winter I can remember. There is always someone else in worse off conditions that us.

The weather has not been conducive to doing very much at all, so we have bunkered down in front of the heater and done very little. Even doing the photo book challenge was too much for today.

With you, Deb!
We’ve been giving the Wasgij collection a hammering over the past couple of weeks. (Currently working on a 1500 piece puzzle. V challenging.) 😳
Too cold/wet to break out the gardening tools!
We had two successive days of extreme damp (read: ‘torrential rain’) last week: 20ml & 23ml in the gauge.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

We had roughly 30 of the Loup little men jigsaws that came in the triangular tube box, from 1500 to 2500 piece, loved doing those, two different castle on the river side by two different manufacturers and taken a different times of the day, but definitely the same day .... lots of great jigsaws, lost a lot of them upstairs in the workshop fire, the rest in the house fire.

We did a Google search and some of them are over $200 now
