Re: Good morning daily
Morning folks finished installing the new fridge in the car yesterday and all working well. ( Photo to come ) Bit worried that it had a battery monitor on it and was showing it as low. Went and talked to the company and it is actually a cut out monitor for safety. When the fridge detects the battery is at the level it is set for it will switch off. Now to load the rest of the gear for a few days away next week.
Have two weeks with out medicals so a good time to go. Cheers Robert

Good morning.
Enjoy your trip Robert..
Hey..the welding bench is finished and on wheels
AND...it has been used... first job...cut the ham bone so it would fit in the pot
.. guess who had pea and ham soup soup last night
I may have to call it a utility bench..
I got a call from over the back, he needed a lift with a wood fire he bought...so that was another job out of the way... next door also rang for a lift with a caravan aircon he bought... but I missed the call..he got the job done with the help of his wife...
I still have a cuppla jobs inside the motorhome..I have a draw that looks like one of the runners need attention...and I have to remove the driver's seat the renew the thingy that opens the gate for the seat to rotate...may get to one of those today... maybe..
We had a cuppla showers yesterday and most of last night... but only light... warm morning because of the cloud cover...19 inside... take 10 off for outside..
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Morning all,
You're always busy Bernie. Good way to be.
Nigel reckons more rain today, maybe tomorrow. Best to drain the tanks... that way, you can catch all the rain and stop the flooding. Now, there's an idea.
Took the bus out for another 500ks on Thur for 3 days, but came home on Fri. Still chasing a water leak and finally found it (I hope) on Thur night. Green coolant glows under torch light!
There is a small block drain pipe, actually a hose, hidden way up between the inlet manifold, oil cooler, filters and things. With one good tug, it separated from the fitting. Probably 35-40 years old.

Re: Good morning daily
Can you tell Nigel we have had enough rain for a while, he can send it somewhere else ....
It's raining big time yet again here in the Illawarra, it this the new look for the east coast in general?
Making that last hose can wait till the rain buggers off and the ground dries out, not all that keen on getting soaking wet .....
Don't ya hate those mystery water leaks Jon ..... and when you find them, it's rarely in an easy to fix spot.
Not sure if rain got into the extension cord plug to the MG4 charger last night, but it tripped the main RCD in the power cupboard and turns out, the RCD on the supply from the mains, so we were on House battery power most of the night and morning and didn't realise, until Margaret complained the roof top rattler wouldn't turn on ..... glad the house batteries carried the load easily enough for all the other appliances required to cook dinner and keep the fridge and hot water running .... it was warm enough not to need the electric blanket, nor the roof top rattler last night ..... we still used 50% of the capacity though, I guess that was charging the car as well as powering everything in the motorhome.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone.
It rained all day yesterday only light... but good for Carol's garden...I spent most of the day inside the motorhome..the draws are back where they should be ..
I bet it was a job for the apprentice originally ... mungral of a job...
..I won't be doing the driver's seat till the ground drys...four bolts are under the motorhome...
Sky's are clear...no rain on the radar...so maybe a nice day ahead...
I did get time to put the new pull rope in my old chainsaw
I used the new bench for that...I was out of ham bone's
.
Nothing planned for today... except for having bacon and eggs...
.
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.

Morning,
Another stunning morning. I think Spring is on its way.
Golf today, another final run in the bus after the water leak tomorrow and then Mundi on Tuesdi.

Good morning.
I mostly had yesterday off...
A bit of gardening and such... plus some fiddling in the shed...I have a lot of stuff that needs to live somewhere else
...
Carol will be off to bingo today with her mates...
I'll stay home and make mischief
..
That draw in the motorhome is still not wanting to open easy...so more thought to be done...I might just swap it with another and see if that fixes it... other wise I probably will need to buy two more slider tracks
.
Keep safe.
