George, I was gunna be a Mr Smartypants and say that 2 months is a lot longer than 5 hours, but there is obviously some medically inclined back story there. So, more info please. But only if you're ready to talk about it.

Carol had a little win at bingo...then went back to Biggenden for a BS... first time she has driven the car in months...
I figured out what was wrong with the draw that wouldn't open.. what I thought was a ramp at the rear of the slide was infact a broken end that the rear wheel of the slide was falling into ..it's a kaboodle draw and slide.. Bunnings don't seem to stock those sliders.anymore
I have another way of fixing the problem...more of that tomorrow... incase it don't work .
Almost an excuse to buy a mig welder ...
I went next door to give him a hand...he couldn't find his multimeter...so I went with mine... problem solved.
I'll be glad when this bloody wind will give up.

Morning again
Continuing on from my draw slides...
Picture one. Is how the end of the slide was... looking at it from under the bench it looked like it had a ramp to hold it closed... but nup it was a split in the slide which was keeping the draw from opening..
Previous owner new of the problem and put a zippy tie on the end of the slide... but one big pothole and they slipped off ..

Good morning everyone. It is another bright, sunny, fresh morning here by the lake.
I did bugger all yesty. Except wash clothes. That's always fun, not.
I moved the Winny earlier today. We might be heading off to Geelong for a few days.
Bruce, we will be down here until the last week in August, at this stage. But things change on a daily basis with Terrie's family, so nothing is cast in concrete.
Bernie, I think I still have some of those runners at home. If you can't find some soon,......
Jon, have a great trip to Mundi Mundi and further on. I wish we were heading that way too.

And to give you's a giggle...I closed the bottom drawer with my nipple as a stopper... don't half hurt...no pics
