Morning all.
Careful Mr. G doesn't take his pants belt off. Dot..
I spent most of yesterday morning up to midday burning off stuff that Carol put in the compost bin
... tree branches don't compost well... plus I trimmed the Crepe myrtle and put them in the fire
.. the fire pit is a old spin dryer... it was here when we bought the property.
And I made a new compost bin...I must take a picture of it..
Nothing planned for today yet
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. I'm up in the Strathbogie Ranges again, at the mates place. BoM tells me it's about 5⁰ outside right now.
So that's not too bad. Hopefully it will warm up a bit when the sun gets up.
My main plan today is to check out a couple of gofers in the scrap yard to see if they are the same as Dot's one. More importantly, clean out the house pantry. I reckon some of the stuff is way way past it's use by date.
Have the best day possible , safe travels everybody.

Good morning from Inverell. Had just over 50mm of rain yesterday and everything is oozing water. Not used to it coming from the Riverland. Heading back towards home via Broken Hill tomorrow. Evie ( the cat ) is bored but being very good. Cheers John

Good morning 12.5c, still raining suppose to ease today only 6mm predicted & maximum 19c, we’ve had more than enough it rained consistently yesterday & was very cold. I don’t remember our greens at bowls being closed so many times owing to the weather since I started bowling, we had 2 weekends in a row no bowls greens closed.

Evie has found a spot of sunshine this morning to warm up her old bones.

Evie looks to be a big girl John, this is the boy that our friend Jenny shares a house with
he is all tucked up trying to look small, two arms and a few strained discs to pick him up, took a while to get hierarchy sorted that no matter how big and strong he thought he was, I was bigger .... and nearly as strong, so now he comes up for a cuddle when ever he sees me

Re: Good morning daily
Good evening, dull overcast but pretty warm day for this time of year. Too my dog Dax to the vet, he has a bad nose, crusty blocked, sores and rather tender. Thought it was lack of drinking, but he's been drinking enough water. Next thought was he's picked up and infection from all his sniffing, so tried putting coconut oil on it and putting a bit of turmeric in his nose to help clear it up. That helped but didn’t fix it, so took him to the vet and they gave him some antibiotics to try to clear it up, after taking a swab and seeing bacteria in his nose. It doesn't effect him much except his nose it tender and he avoids any contact with it, but still sniffs everything he come across. Hopefully the antibiotics will clear it up, if not have another appointment in 2 weeks and if nothing has changed, they will take a sample and send it to the lab for examination.

NP sounds like a fungal thing, poor Dax hope he gets better soon. When we were in Mt Barker today I patted 2 dogs. A black lab in the supermarket (PTSD dog) and then in K mart a golden Lab also a (PTSD) assistant dog. I did ask the two men if it was ok to pat them. That's how I get my doggie fix.

NP, I hope Dax gets sorted out soon.
Dot, you are very lucky that they allowed you to touch a service dog. Most of the ones I've seen have a little sign that says something like, do not pat the dog. Or similar.
