Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

They both bad jackets on saying they were PTSD companion dogs and I was around a mtr away before I asked if I was able to pat the dog, both men said yes that was ok and that the dogs loved getting pats.I asked one of the guys how did his dog reacted if he was in some sort of stress? he said the dog nudges and gets very close to the person mainly to get the persons attention and for him to pat and interact with the dog. Probably because the dog isn't the persons eyes, ears or epileptic sensor it is ok to pat those dogs. I always ask even if it's an ordinary dog with no coats or signs, I can't help touching and talking to any animals apart from rats and snakes.

Good morning.
I had a normal day... that is up to Carol saying to load some furniture on the ute...😔..so we now have furniture on consignment at the Biggenden op shop...
She's getting better... which means I have to do stuff 😄
I bought two or those gimbal fan's for the motorhome I probably will see about fitting them today... maybe..
I have also ordered a small shed for stacking firewood into... expecting that sometime next week....
I took a photo of the new compost bin...it's just wire in a circle with shade cloth around it...I stole the idea from one I saw on telly.😜
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Get to pat quite a few dogs on our daily beach romp Dot and Dax has people coming up to him for a pat all the time as he's very well liked and loves meeting other dogs and people. There's one gorgeous little lady called Georgie who dashes over to me every time she see me and I call her Georgie girl, which puts her in a flap as she spins round and pushes her body against my legs. Problem is she's normally wet from swimming, but her attention makes up for the wet legs I get.

Luckily Dax is pretty happy with his life except for his nose and hips, think you may have it right Dot, a fungal infection. Hopefully the antibiotics he's been given will fix it up, have tried a few natural fixes but they haven't done much to clear it up, but made it look and feel better. He's not in pain and really enjoys running on the beach and some days covers quite a distance, trying to catch up to Bindi and I. But his sniffing investigations always takes precedence over us and he mostly waits for us to come back from our run, but covers enough distance to get adequate exercise.

Bindi just runs round and round people with her stick in her mouth and never lets them touch her, she had a pretty traumatic first year of her life. Now she's a happy girl, sneaky, bit bossy but adorable, extremely loyal and obedient. Don't have to say much to her, just point or say one word and she obeys, most of the time

Raining here at the moment, just light but enough to refresh everything. Today will be fixing neighbours Delica, they are a really great 4x4 van and I'm putting lock out hubs on it as she rarely uses 4x4, fixing her back door, and a coolant leak, but a hassle to work on as they've squeezed the engine etc into a very small space so you have to remove things like the intercooler to do anything to them.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Good morning everyone, its a beautiful sunny morning here in Mulwala. Might get to 19⁰ if we're lucky. No rain here.
Spent a couple of hours yesty morning having a sort through the mates scrap yard. Found some great treasure. Terrie calls it more junk for home.
Not sure what's on the program for the weekend yet, but I'm sure I'll know soon enough.
Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

Good morning All. 17* with blue sky, 19* forecast.

Dave, early Spring is the most dangerous time for snake bites as they have not completely woken from their slumber and don't notice your footsteps in time to get out of your way. This enables you to step on them and get bitten.

Went to the hospital to see an ex employee and good friend before we left Wollongong, he is dying from bladder cancer, not even 60 yet .... wanted to see him before we left believing there was every chance he would have passed to the other side before we returned .....
Found him chipper and looking much better than the last time I'd seen him, so there is hope yet .....

Our friend Jenny whose place we were parked up ..... not so good, I expect she will be back in hospital today ....

Drove via Nowra to fill up with LPG $1.22.5 ltr, so we didn't stop, that is an insane price for LPG ..... but at least 66 cents of that are state and fed taxes .... more than half .... just wrong

Headed up the Nerriga Rd towards Braidwood, plan was to see my daughter in Canberra. Turns out she has pinched a nerve in her back and is bed bound, can't get the Winnie anywhere close to where she lives, so that was changed to heading to Jugiong ..... Mrs Google had us zig zagging through country we didn't even know had roads and ended up drive 220kms for what should have been a 155km drive ..... but we are retired, and we got to see some very green country, so all good.

Morning everyone.
The normal start to the working week 😁 it was actually the last day for me.... back then... our line gang only worked Sat Sun and Monday...then four days off...
I mowed the lawns yesterday just to tidy up the seed heads...it won't be long before I'll be complaining about mowing...we are still getting fresh mornings but into the top of the 20s through the day...it was 27 yesterday 😀
I finished the wiring of the fan's... and that was about it.
Keep safe.
Bernie.
