Hay is rather cool this morning, the wind seems to have blown itself out, on to Ouyen today, then home or Geranium, depending on what time we leave Ouyen.
MG decided to turn off the power this morning, I think it might be Margaret's kettle that is causing the problems .... so, no air con warming this morning, I turned it back on so I could have toast and coffee, but the boss said I had to suffer the cold the same as she had ..... they can be mean critters in the morning if things don't go to their plans ....

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Its bitterly cold here at Mulwala. We had 12mm of rain overnight, luckily I got out of the backyard with no drama. We are heading home now, got another funeral to attend.
Terry get a smaller kettle. Ours is 650 w and boils just enough for 2 mugs of tea/ coffee.
Safe travels all those out and about.

This one is a KMart special, it isn't the power it draws, more like it has a short to ground or something, but only sometimessupersparky wrote: ↑Sat Aug 30, 2025 10:53 am Good morning everyone. All in all, it is a good set up, the most we have paid is $25 to fully charge the MG, that lasts us for at least 3 days free camping, so cheaper than power at a caravan park, and we have all we need on board.
Solar on the roof next, replace the engine's water pump and a few other tidy ups, and we can be back on the road ......

Good morning everyone.
We got that bloody wind that Dot mentioned
I was trying to put this little shed together...I had the frame and the iron on the back... that's when it started, so I stopped... everything has that plastic covering over it... pain in the arce...so I spent the rest of the day peeling it off... I'll put a picture of the plastic up...
I'll have to water the gardens and the veggies and today everything has dried up because of the wind...

No bacon in the fridge so it's only eggs today

Don't you have a gas stove in the Winnie Terry

Even if our gas runs out we have one of those portable canister stoves with us...
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.

Yeah, but the plastic kettle doesn't like it, nor does the coffee machineBernieQ2 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 31, 2025 5:05 am Good morning everyone.

Apparently, the last time it tripped the car supply, the kettle had boiled and switched off, then the power went out, so maybe it's the power surges the car doesn't like ..... getting the inverter back in the loop will sort that problem, but that can wait till we get back to Mannum and the water pump and LPG hose is sorted.
The only reason I made some of the hoses out or second hand stuff, I didn't have enough new stuff to replace all the hoses and wasn't sure when we would be back on the road, so didn't order any online .... in hindsight, it would have arrived with plenty of time to spare, but hindsight is really only useful for positioning over the bowl
