A load of washing on at the moment. Shifting the trailer into place yesterday, I've stuffed up my right knee now  This getting old sucks big time.
Next Tuesday Margaret goes to see her foot specialists at Flinders, then we are camping up at the beach caravan park so Margaret can do her prep work for the camera work at the RAH ..... not sure if we return home Thursday or Friday.

So, no major off the road repairs on the Winnie till that is sorted and completed.

T1,
I reckon that, despite the quibbles, most people would consider it better than the alternative… at least until you need an oxygen tent 24/7.

Remember,

I’m still collecting… 😁

Decided to try and rationalise the Winnie electrical cupboard and find the 12v short that keeps blowing the fuse for the sink light and under cupboard lights up the drivers side.

The centre panel in the electrical cupboard has the remote start from the Onan generator and 2 x 3way switches, off/mains/generator on one and off/mains/inverter on the other switch .... a 4 way switch would have the same function as the 2 x 3 way switches, and reduced the wiring mess considerably.
From there, the cabling went to the 16 amp RCD, then volts and amps analog gauges, so another mess of wiring involved there.
From there I discovered, on inverter position the power only goes to that safety switch and gauges and out to the power points, no hot water, fridge 240v or air conditioner :?
From the mains or generator positions, another cable ran to a white connection box that had the hot water, fridge and air conditioner, all linked with B/P connectors .... so no circuit breaker or safety switch for those items

So far, I have moved the 2 x 3 way switches to the circuit breaker and gauges panel, the centre panel will be upgraded to hold a circuit breaker for each of the circuits.

The problem is, the Norflex I've been taking for my neck pain and headaches, is a muscle relaxant, the muscles in the eyes are so relaxed they can't be bothered holding focus  so work has been ..... interesting, and taken all day to get half done

At the moment, we are back to the extension cord through the window, the birds nest will be shoved back in the space above the fridge and tackled again tomorrow

A serious spanner in the works for this plan. Opening the mail that stacked up while we were away, discovered my licence expired a mth ago :o Tried to renew on line, no, must attend a Service NSW centre and have another photo taken ..... though plans are now set back a week, Margaret will still have her foot specialist appointment at Flinders, but Wed we will have a road trip to Balranald to a service NSW office, to get my photo taken, a new licence issued, and then drive back to Mannum Wed night .... 1,000km round trip ..... for joy, for joy really looking forward to that one

Nothing surprises me any more. Unless this is just another furphy.

Remember, you can't drive so Margaret has to.

Terry, just a word of warning. Those Service NSW sites aren't always manned 5 days a week, like they used to be. Lack of available staff is the new buzzword.
The one at Corowa is only manned two days a week. Some of the others are lucky to only be open 3 days/ week.
You probably don't have the spare time, but a call in advance could save some grief.
Cheers
