Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

The 'puter says it's 8* I think it's telling fibs, sure doesn't feel like 8* .... but could be the shock of being out of bed at this hr

1,000kms round trip, 10 mins short of 12 hr from the time stamp on the OTR fuel docket, now licenced again, complete with new photo, passed the eyesight test without glasses, but because it says "S" on the licence, believe it or not, I had to put them on and pass it again
I have to ask the eye professor to fill out a form to say I no long need glasses to drive, before they will remove the "S" from my licence ..... who cares, I need the polarised glasses to drive during the day and I'll have to get a pr of dark yellow tinted ones for night driving, the idiots in the 4 X 4's still got me on the way home

5.2ltr/100kms for the trip in the Prius, not bad for an '06 car with 344,500kms on the clock, a fuel stop at Oyen, two dog walk stops, an egg and bacon roll and coffee stop at Lameroo and an hr at Service NSW, so roughly 10 hrs driving to do 1,000kms, average 100km/h .... :D ..... and no, not just me, Margaret drove over and arrived in just under the 5 hrs at the doors of Service NSW Balranald ......

Good morning.
Yesterday started with the x-ray for my left knee...and a ultrasound... the young lady doing the ultrasound said I've had a previous opp on the knee... there was a surgical clip inside... that was news to me... not the opp the clip 😡🤔...
We then headed to Bundaberg spotlight...Curtin's were half price...so I was told... plus a trip to Bunnings for some more garden supplies... plus I bought some tomato plants and silverbeet...then lunch at the Chinese restaurant...
That was about it for the day 😀..
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Another sunny windy morning here in Hervey Bay. The wind has picked up a bit of intensity overnight.
I wrote up a big post early on this morning, but lost it due to operator error. Finally figured out how. The back button on my phone is close enough to the enter button. Fat fingers, squish and gone. A forward button would fix that problem, same as on the 'puter.
Going for a feed then a walk on the beach.
Have a top day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers

Good morning All. 11* and sprinkling rain. It poured during the night.
We had a pair of King Parrots and a pair of Crimson Rosellas seeking food this morning however, a pair of Rainbow Lorikeets chased them away. An Eastern Rosella has been hanging around to get the last of the feed.
Sorry, no photo.

Morning all.
I spent most of the morning putting curtain brackets up.
Unfortunately because of where the brackets had to go
The curtain rods don't fit... not long enough 😡 Carol not happy...so I will see what I can come up with today..
Planted out some of the silverbeet... still looking at where and how I'm going to plant the tomatoes..
The ute is still sitting half way up the car ramps..
Removing the starter motor looks like a bugga of a job.
And next door rang me to tell me that him and his wife are grounded... they have caught so sort of virus... not COVID...
Expecting a visitor today...
Keep safe.

Morning all.

Gravity is working. I'm almost at the top of the arc and about to roll over and head east.

Good morning all, what ever took me out yesterday afternoon and had me sleep it off all night, seems to have passed. Thinking it might have been a coffee that was supposed to be lactose free milk but in fact wasn't, or a chocolate slice from the same bakery .... the risks involved with eating while travelling .....

Think the rain might have departed the Mannum region .... but then again, maybe not, it was clear sky and sunning half an hr ago, not so much now ....

We've just got back from visiting one of Terrie's oldest and dearest friends. She is in a little community up near Maryborough.
Had lunch at the Howard hotel. Not a bad feed for the price. It's still a bit windy here, but no rain yet.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Good Afternoon All.

I have spent the day cleaning the lower floor windows, removing the way too many leaves from the lower floor house gutters, what a struggle crawling around non the roof tiles, then spraying the dirt from the gutters before gathering all the leaves to go in the green waste bin.

I am absolutely knackered, will have a shower then walk to the local bowlo for a couple of beers.

I will have to spend some time tomorrow clearing leaf debris from the deck.
