Re: The “Delayed Honeymoon” Big Rail Tour
So we can take it that your honeymoon was a very pleasant adventure and you both arrived home in 1 piece, were the girls happy to see you? Suppose the next thing on the agenda is a few days or R&R. Welcome home.
Queen of the Banal & OT chatter and proud of it. If it offends you then tough titty titty bang bang.

Re: The “Delayed Honeymoon” Big Rail Tour
Yep!
Home on Monday after lunch.
The Girls nearly wagged their tails off with excitement!
Wouldn’t let us out of their sight for the rest of the day.
Still suffering from the last of my URTI picked up probably in Adelaide — Market was unheated. Full-blown temperature (39.2) by the time we arrived in Perth. Off to RPH ED — and an EIGHT HOUR wait to see a Dr! Only needed 2 minutes to explain the usual treatment & ask for a script.
Bluddy uncomfortable hard plastic chairs didn’t help my comfort level.
Antibiotics are kicking in now, so I’m feeling better.
All unpacking completed.
But with perfect timing, our 25YO washing machine decided four consecutive loads were enough, and went on strike with 2.5 loads to go. (Didn’t stay long enough in any town to use hotel laundry service.)
Fortunately the caravan has a washing machine. Only 2.5kg, compared to the house one’s 5.5kg capacity… but it got the job done!
And before you ask, multiple loads because we had to wash my new black jeans and several new dark shirts separately from the whites and older coloured clothes which have been washed many times.
New washing machine is bought and paid for. Delivery & installation on Sunday!
Here endeth today’s lesson.
Next week we will be analysing Revelations.
(Good luck with that one!)

So what reveal would you like to start with Ray? Good to hear all is well in Rutherglen and the girls are happy.

Re: The “Delayed Honeymoon” Big Rail Tour
Dottie,
Revelations is the last book in the Bible, full of mysterious predictions and visions.
It’s where most of the extreme nutters get their ‘doom & gloom’ warnings from, and the ‘Hellfire & Brimstone” preachers love to pull selective quotes from.
Most of it is symbolic language. Difficult to read or understand.
I’ve been trying for 45+years…
Today we’re back in the real world: medical appointments and a Big Shop to replenish the fridge, freezer and pantry.
Told the housesitters to use up whatever they liked from the stocks and not to replace them, as SWMBO has her likes and dislikes when shopping.
The only thing NOT on today’s list is longlife full cream milk! They used a skim milk lactose free…
Just hoping that the dishwasher doesn’t decide to join the washing machine and go on strike… they’re about the same age.
