Morning all..
We travelled that road a few years ago... but in reverse from your travels Jon/Dave... only because at the time there was flooding on the hyway.. and only in our car..

We had a visit from one of our neighbours who sold and moved three years ago.. that was a good catch-up..
I had the bore running most of yesterday so all the gardens got a good drink..

Carol will be off to bingo today...I get to do what I want.. when the cats away ..
I do have a few small jobs in the shed I could do.. maybe.

It's well past midday, so it'd just G'day time now. I started off doing a post this morning but I got distracted and lost it all. That's never happened before.
I'm home again on the GC. It's another fine sunny day, with not too much wind about. I think the little dog is happy to be back in familiar surroundings, but she will be happier tomorrow when her family come to take her home. She did travel well though.
I've got a load of washing on, and my go have a little bit of a rest after I hang it out to dry.

Nothing of importance achieved yesy..was sorta like a day off ...
Just some mucking around in the shed..I'm going to sell some of the 18 Lt beer kegs that I don't use...so I cleaned them up..
Our land rates are based on the unimproved capital value ..so it doesn't matter whether you have a house on it or vacant land...
Nothing planned as yet for today...so far ..

Good morning everyone. Another fine day on the GC today, might get to 27⁰. I did bugger after I arrived back home yesty, apart from a bit of unpacking and some washing of clothes.
The gkids and their folks are on the way home from the airport now. They caught the red from Darwin, so Roxie dog goes home now. Nothing much planned for today except a walk on the beach.
Safe travels all those out and about.

Morning folks some light rain over night, good for the garden at lest. Caravan aircon is leaking so going to upgrade to a more efficient model.

Was booked in for left hip replacement mid November but after the cardiologist yesterday that has now been cancelled. Go back on 31/10 for a assessment to replace a heart valve so all other operations and procedures cancelled.
