Re: Project for Terry?
I'm afraid that motorhome build has less potential than getting big bus up and running
There is You Tube about all weird and wacky builds in the US and other parts of the world ..... the two pontoon structure that the motorhome drives onto and locks down, looked the most "interesting" not sure if it was designed for river use, or open water.
I was thinking the rear wheels could be on rollers like a dyno, and drive propellors, or the hybrid drive conversion used as a generator to drive electric propulsion .....
That should give Jon D some new ammunition

I reckon T1 Terry, has more than enough projects lined up to last a cuppla old blokes a lifetime.
Terry if you linked to that YouTube paddle boat, it didn't work.

I never thought of a paddle boat, might be a bit of a battle in open waterssupersparky wrote: ↑Thu Oct 02, 2025 11:59 am I reckon T1 Terry, has more than enough projects lined up to last a cuppla old blokes a lifetime.

One of the paddleboats that does passenger tours out of Mannum, has a Ford tractor engine midships, and the axles out of the diff as extended out each side with the paddles attached, navigates by a rudder and steering brakes .... so that idea certainly works on a river
