Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

"tanks" here---
Dot, did you remember that it is your birthday this week.
Keith
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Dot, give Gman a hug from us please and give him our good vibes for a hugely successful op. We be thinking of you both. xxxx

Today was a strange one. It was sunny with freezing cold winds, but we still have the doors open tonight. That feels good.

Our son has fitted some fancy (Expensive maybe?) red shackle things to the chains of the van and to the truck. His lordship wants to keep them, so he has finally worked a way of removing the newer things off the chains and fitting some Dshackles back on. We had a speedy trip to the auto shops locally and found we had to get to two shops to get enough of the shackles to do the job. All done., now what will he find to fiddle with tomorrow?
I am happy to leave it all until we get back from Bathurst nest weekend, but he is panicking about not getting the van cleared out before handover.

I found a lot of space in my wardrobe for the new happy pants and have a big pile of bright pants for the charity shop. I have found that Sallies will only dump things that are bright like that, but another local op shop takes this sort of clothing to Pacific Islands where there is a need/desire for these. Will make a trip there eventually, no rush.

Nighty night xxx

T1 aka Prof1 will have to wait for a surprise  Deborah are those things that dangle from your van the man ball danglers? OP shops are not doing themselves any favors by picking and choosing stuff. As I told you a couple of weeks ago about the council demanding any work done on a grave hasto be done by a monumental Mason at the costs between $5 and $15k. Well bugger them, I got onto my local MP he contacted the council and their story changed immensely compared to what we were told. Now we can get a registered tradesman eg builder that gets a permit for around $400 submits a drawing of the intended finished grave. So up the council and them not telling us this could be done in the first place Just goes to show what a little push back can do, G's op not till next mth. Brian was put outside for a pee before the vet visit, I picked him up and was putting him into his crate when he piddled on me  a quick change of t shirt and shoes and we were off. literally phew. The vet laughed and did her exam check up on his steroid treatment for his allergy. He has a small growth on his R) bottom eye lid, to watch and apply cream x 2 day. His weight was good 5.4kg,but she found a slight heart murmur but not to freak out about after all he is 11. Did some weed spraying and 3 more wheelbarrows of mulch out to the front so nearly finished. Found room for 4 more plants just have the 4 lavenders to find places for. Where are the David pics? Hope all you sickies are improving and also be careful on the roads. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Shirley x :D

Dot, none of my pics can justify how amazing the scenery is over here. Just use MrGoogle. The quality of photos are much better there. I have tried to spell all the names correctly to make it easy for you. :D
Cheers

A lazy PJ day  G was busy as usual, visited the physio for his sore shoulder but managed to mow the weeds  Brian doesn't like me putting the ointment on his little eyelid tumor but it has to be done. How are you doing Jd? hopefully better after the chiro. Bernie how is your son? Just before it got dark Brian was about to come in when he came nose to nose with our resident bluey, they both stopped and stared at each other then Brian turned and came inside for bed. So funny to have seen this nasty vicious cat at work. RnB how are all your cuts and burned things doing? Geeze we are all cracking up. I have some cysty thing to be cut out from under my arm next week. Maybe we could put pics up of our cut outs etc    I am now heading to the shower so Take care everyone and goodnight x :D Goodnight Ray x :D

Dot you're mad. Can you really imagine his lordship having anything rude on his vehicles? No the red things are sort a fancy shackles (they have a fancy name too, but blowed if I can remember) that connect the caravan chains to the truck. Brian sure knows when the vet is expecting him...smart critter. xxxx

Jon, hope the chiro has the problem all sorted. Some parts of getting old suck.

David, I hope you still have some photos of yourselves in these far off places. You probably won't be returning, so do make your own history book about the trip.

Today was our annual visits to the chiropodist. Always a quick visit. Today he was using a new fancy shaping tool that is connected to a sucker thing, to collect all of the dust from the air. I asked a few questions and ended up being sold a fancy air sucker that they use in their nail paint business to collect any stray dust as they shape the nails. It will take a up some of the bench, but when I am grinding the edges off the glass, I hate watching the fumes go everywhere. Yesterday I also bought a respirator mask to prevent me from breathing in said fumes.

This afternoon, I went down to my shed, put on that respirator and vacuumed every flat surface that I could reach and then wiped it over with a wet cloth. Bench clean, so had to make something. Last selling day, I sold a lovely green splat plate and felt the need for another. I currently have 4 splats in greeny blues and one in red and yellows. Today's one is mauve in a solid colour and transparent purple. It's being fused as I type and as usual, tomorrow it will get shaped over a mold. Don't really know what to expect of this glass. It was from a big box of left over glass that I bought a long time ago in Armidale and haven't fired any of these colours yet . May or may not like it, but hopefully, someone will fall in love with it.

Try to stay healthy you lot,
night all xxx
Deborah

Deborah, you are right about probably not coming back. I've taken heaps of pics and will cull a lot of them at some point. Well make up some photo boards when we get back. Some of those B&W canvas ones and maybe a few colour ones.
I'm glad you have a sucker and a decent mask for your glass work now. Crystalline Silica (cement) dust hasn't done me any favours from my time in the concrete construction industry.
Cheers
