Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

There will be nothing done with the motorhome today
We are going to Maryborough early this morning.
Miss O... the not so little red head Olivia is having her high school graduation today... and we will be there...

As to the leg thingys on the motorhome I do have to cut them down to fit...in the closed position ie as one travel's. They are longer than the existing arm's
The photo shows how much longer thay are.
The two in front are the old ones... and you can see the difference... they will have to be cut to the same size
The sliding piece doesn't get cut... they will still be as normal...
Keep safe.
Bernie.
I'd stand them up beside the Hino with the top bracket over the sail track and see if you can get them to fit before thinking about shortening them .... but it's your awning, so you can do what you want with them ;)

Good morning.
It was a great day at Olivia's school for her graduation..
Biggest smile I think I've ever seen on her beaming face.
Quote from her...see those gates... once through I ain't even coming back...The school is St Mary's college...its in Maryborough
She's not a Catholic neither are her parents..
I now have the rust converter... and Sikaflex for the Hino roof.. that.may or not get done today...
Terry I can move the rear arm back a smidgen... but not the front... someone put the front wheel there 😁🤔
Plus I will have to make up spacers as the new brackets are not wide enough... another unforeseen problem..
Enjoy your painting 😄
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Its about 22⁰ here and we had some rain last night. More coming according to BoM.
Achieved bugger all yesty. Had some blood tests and fluffed about. Felt like a zombie all day.
Not sure what today brings, but I want to finish getting all the stuff out of the Winny, even though there is nowhere to put most of it.
I just don't want it in there when it eventually goes to the repairers.
Have a great weekend everyone. Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

You could raise the roof ;) Seems the Hino isn't as high off the ground as the Winnie after all  I guess you will have to cut it off the top, not sure how much drama the button/lock for the bracing arm will be ..... can't move it back far enough top clear the front wheel arch?

At least got the two really important jobs done today. Panel bashed and glued the tear in the side of the container where a tyne from the forklift punched a hole when the container hit some of the bolts sticking out of the concrete, the container stopped and the forklift didn't .... the container wall was the weak point. Easy fix.

The second job was returning my electric pushbike to operating condition for Margaret to ride ..... fitting the replacement battery was the easy part, fitting the wide glide tractor seat wasn't ...... a full blown Chinese puzzle because it incorporates a tilt open mechanism to access the battery for removal .... fortunately, there are only so many wrong ways it can be put together .... I explored all of them

So, the containers got their first days use, a rain shelter while I fixed the bike :D a long and reasonable height workshop, a tad narrow but not too bad ....

Eddy, the repairer explained what he thinks he'd like to do. But the insurers are still fluffing about getting fire reports etc. They haven't yet accepted the claim, so it hasn't been assessed yet.
As T1 will no doubt confirm, nothing happens fast with a fire claim in insurance world. If it wasn't insured it would be fixed, finished and back on the road.
If/when it's accepted, we'll pull out the old 3way, disconnect and plug or cap the gas line, then figure out exactly how big of a domestic inverter fridge will fit in the space available.
Unfortunately, I can't see that happening in a hurry. And seeing as the old roof rattler has to come off to reskin and possibly reinsulate some of the roof, we'll get a new inverter airco fitted as well,at the same time. We had planned on upgrading the airco anyway. It'll hurt the pocket but maybe save some time, down the track.
Cheers
David
