RIP Moff. You either loved him or hated him. But he was one hell of a race car driver.
Cheers

Agree, Alan Moffat was one hell of a race car driver, his rivalry with Brock was always enjoyable entertainment, it was so good to watch back in those days
RIP Alan.

Re: R.I.P. Allan Moffat
I remember his battles with Pete Geoghegan and Norm Beechey at Oran Park and Warrick Farm in the late '60's and early '70. You couldn't talk to Alan 20 mins before a race, he had to get his mind set in tune, where Pete Geoghegan and Norm Beechey and another driver who owned a business call road and track, raced a Falcon and later became a team manager .... can't remember his name ....... I knew it would come to me as soon as I posted, Fred Gibbson, ....... were happy to talk to you, even while setting up in the pits through the car window while they were lined up to go out on the track ....... they were great times where the interaction between drivers and fans was really open and friendly .....
RIP Alan, you were a great entertainer with your driving skills and commentary later in your career ..... I believe Stormin' Norman might be the only driver left from those great days of real car racing .......

A person may fail many times, they only become a failure when they blame someone else John Burrows
