Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Looks like the rain might have cleared for a while, so off to the hammer shop to buy paint and one of those electric spray guns, they can spray thicker paint and these containers are going to need lots of real thick paint

You must have just caught the edge of what we just had Bernie. We got 20mm in a half hour. A Qld afternoon summer storm, except in the morning 😁

Yes I'm up, have been out the back weed wrestling, lasted 1/2 hr and it got too hot and no breeze at all. Plus expecting visitors .It is muggy as muggy.

Tis a tad warm in the sun Dottie. Been to the hammer shop and spent over $400 in paint and back now to start peeling stickers off and wire brushing the flaky paint spots, then into it ..... At least a coat over the baby sh*tte yellow to Colourbond Dune that Margaret picked as being the same colour as next door ..... he didn't have a clue what colour they had used, his wife picked it  Had to take Margaret with me, just in case they wouldn't mix that much paint just on my colour selection ..... forgot my debit card, so Margaret paid for it using her debit card ..... same account but I don't get into trouble for spending all our money ;)

Well I bit the bullet... and attached the awning arm..
I cut a cuppla inches Off...the put it up to see how close I was... cut another cuppla inches Off... and it's the same length as the original arm...I had some timber blocks to see how much I need to have so everything fit's...
I'll find something to fit... other than the timber blocks I used....A picture...

You can see how much I cut..
Bernie.
Yes Dave we were just on the edge... like a mini cyclone.

I can't offer any advice on the awning Bernie. But you've just reminded me that I need to check the downspouts for blockages.
Cheers

He already has a new one Jon, it goes on the other end ;)

How does the press button lock work Bernie? Is it a separate piece that just fits in the end of the arm?

You've got the gasless mig welder now, Temu sell gasless aluminium welding wire if you need to add a bit back on ;)

Way too hot out in the sun at the moment, think this painting thing might be an early morning and late evening event ...... no idea how I'm going to convince Margaret the early morning shift is hers
