Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, for some of our weeds, a stun gun might do the trick. ;) I think I would get some pleasure watching the weeds disintegrate. Haven't seen any advertised, so guess they haven't been invented yet. Get your money's worth from that medicare card Dot. xxxx

We did the opposite today of what the last weeks has been. We loaded some things back into the van for the trip North. All ready to start the expedition tomorrow. As it's a long way from here to Coffs, we will break it into a two day trip each way. Once upon a time, we would have done it in one day, but we are playing safe these days. The plan is to wait to see how we feel during the morning and I will make a booking for the night, once we know how far we intend to travel.
night all xxx

Another lost day for me and Brian. Off to the crap dentist tomorrow hmm we'll see. It was hot and sticky today so nothing was done outside. Getting excited about our visit to Monarto (zoo) next Saturday, it was my birthday present from last year but Dr's got in the way. Lots of rain for the rest of this week = no watering to be done. Nothing much to report today so I hope all the sickies are recovering nicely. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Deborah x :D

One more appointment done and dusted. I went to the dentist in Mt Barker(the one I don't like) We paid the $70,00 they requested BUT we had the last say. For a specialist dentist saying I only need to have check ups yearly well since I first saw him in April I had 3 decayed teeth needing filling, he did one and have booked me in for 3 weeks to do the other 2 fillings (no charge as should be) So I pointed out where a back tooth has been rubbing in my new tongue in the same spot that the original cancer was so he took a photo and will send it to the head of the Mayo facial man at the dental hosp. Guess who the boss of that dept is?? the very same person that told me for over a year that "There was nothing wrong" I have been waiting to see this guy since 2015  Anyway Tomorrow we go to see the gas man for G's pre op check up. Did a bit of manual weed pulling but that takes a toll. Well do the spray stuff ? Thurs if weather is right. Friday it is off to my GP and yep the super op shop , this time to see about some tops for HTFFBO. Hope everyone that have or still are in the typhoon areas are all safe. Early night now so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Shirley x :D

Dot, you sound like you are surrounded by total medical nincompoops. Don't hold your breath about the tongue annoying tooth and maybe see another fang farrier once the fillings are all sorted. xxxx

Shirley, did you live through hell in that storm this afternoon? I believe Manno had no power for many hours, just when it was over 40 degrees and the winds was huge. Power was restored just after 8 pm, once it would have been cool again.

We did the van swap today and boy, our heads are spinning with all the new techie stuff. No doubt it will become like second nature after a while. At the moment we feel inundated with what button does what and remembering where to touch various panels to get them to activate....technology yet again trying to outsmart us. The van is 4 foot longer, but the cupboards space doesn't seem to have increased. I was excited to find a little corner cupboard at the foot of the bed. It's full of the metal arms that swing out, to be able to set the tv up in the annex. I don't think we will ever use that but with Christmas and cricket etc, I shouldn't say never. I will still be surprised if he can figure out how to use it that way.

We are staying at Sawtell big 4 , it's lovely but doesn't have a pool. There is a town pool next door and they gave us a pass to use it. It would have been great today, but no swim wear in the van...yet.
Staying here another night, just to get the feel of the van

NIghty night xxx

Pics Deborah. I bet you put stuff away then decide Not the right place so re do it again then you forget where you put stuff  That just means you will have to get out there for longer. Today we went to the gas man for G's pre op assessment, he was a nice young fella, checked G's chest and breathing the CT and bloods he had and reported that the Diaphragm-has a slight deformity that resulted from the trauma and surgery to repair it could be the cause of G's continued "clearing" of the throat so tomorrow he is having a spirometry but apart from that he deemed G fit for surgery next week. :D . Deborah the only medical type person is the boss lady in the city and I am not fond of the the local ones. I have to go to these people due to having had the biggy radiation and the teeth have bad blood supply. Got home and got the washing in then got down again and got the last of the obvious weeds out but oh does that make the thighs scream "no more" Last night I had a ripper of calf cramp OUCH. G said he rubbed the calf but he said I was more asleep than awake but kept yelling CRAMP  Best of the day was when parking the car the V8's were on the track having a run around. Still love the noise The traffic is getting heavier and there were some car transport trucks rolling in. Time for bed so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Darryl x :D

No Deborah we weren’t worried about the storm hit us around 2pm, the heavy rain only lasted about 10minutes, it did blow a bit, no power out in our region.
We would have liked more rain after spraying all the clover we had brown spots, spread Dynamic Lifter all over it a couple of days ago when rain was predicted, we’ve had bugger all, the front yard stinks.😂
The lake was choppy strong westerly wind ripping across the lake most of the day.

Good you have your new van, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it, travel safely.

Goodnight everyone, sweet dreams 💤💤
