Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

The tonneau was going to be a fix up job on the old one but decided it was too stuffed. Making the cover is quite easy but cutting around the bars and keeping it tight is a total pain. First taste of summer today so it will be an inside day from here. Cheers0.jpg
Nice looking job on the ute Tonneau cover and what I can see of the red stool .....

Good morning..
Another not planned day...I didn't even get to the Hino...
Herself found stuff I needed to be doing 😔
Plus I went to the chemist... and the chemist bloke had a flag on one of the scripts... dosage not as normal... They were new scripts...so I had to ring the medical centre made appointment to see doctor about said script...
Yes it was a mistake... the doctor who gave me the scripts is no longer there... so now armed with the new script I was off to the chemist again 🤐 so I now have the correct script...
So hopefully I will be able to get to the Hino today.
I've been ringing around trying to get a new fuel cap to replace the lost one...one mob quoted over $300...I swore 🤔 anyway I asked on the Hino forum... and one answered with the correct part number... bonus...
I finally found one in Brisbane.. for $58.. delivered..
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning all!
Bernie after forgetting to put my cap back on I now make a point of double checking after I go pay the bill.
Luckily mine has a chain for it to hang.....
For an ex pilot Idda thunk you would do a pre-flight check before run up?

Yes Bruce I normally do a walk around...
What normally happens...I get out of the Hino go around the front to the drivers side open tank, then fuel up... put cap on walk back around front and go pay the bill walk back to Hino and walk around the back checking wheels and continue around the drivers side ... that's what I normally do... but... this time the Gilbarco people who service the Bowser's set up behind me putting the safety cones.up ...so I didn't get to walk right around the Hino 🤬
But it's still my fault 😭😭

That's a classic scenario that leads to an aircraft accident. - A variation from the standard process and something is missed.

I conducted Root Cause Analysis training at work years ago. Generally it takes asking 5 whys to get to the real reason. "why did that happen?" and get the answer and then "why did that happen". Eventually you get to the real reason.

Our overseas support teams were great at saying 'human error'. But when you drilled in, most times, they were following a dud process.

Watch the OPTUS fall out. If they say human error, then, they haven't got to the reason root cause of why it Triple Zero outage occured.

Good morning All. 28* and max of 34* forecast.
I have already mowed my section of the reserve and done a little painting and paint prep, won't be doing much more outside for the next couple of days.

I saw my GP regarding back and arm pain which has occurred during the night but she wasn't able to cause any pain and had no idea what was going on so, sent me for xrays and blood tests the results from which I am await.

How old is the mattress and the bed (slats)? A saggy mattress around the bum and 'small of the back' can cause all sorts of pain.

Jon, new mattress, changed beds and pillows, no effect. The pain would occur in upper left side of back and left arm all the way down to top of fingers. Tried sleeping on back, left and right side and stomach, results the same.

During the day I have no problem.
