As Bernie mentioned, you can get an electric-only fridge.
Friend who is dependent on an oxygen concentrator 24/7 had their entire system converted to electricity.
Induction hob, electric heating, the whole shebang.
Warning signs prominent on all four sides, “NO NAKED FLAMES WITHIN 10 METRES” & “OXYGEN IN USE”.
They have received good cooperation from neighbours and CP managers so far.
Amazing the change of attitude when his wife explains her husband’s condition.
(Particularly when you consider that a glowing cigarette butt could produce a fireball which would engulf the next door vans both sides & probably across the road as well.)

Showing your age now Ray. Gas lanterns are out too.. and, the electric light globe has come and gone. We're now using fang-dangle things called LEDs. Amazing.

Not only that, there are things called "Lasers". Men use them to help shoot bears, Girls use them to treat hairs. It's a modern world.

See people walking around shops with a oxygen concentrator pack over their shoulders. Friends in Queensland used one all the time.

No, but pure oxygen will accerate a fire. And cause it to ignite faster.

That was one of the causal findings from the Apollo 1 fire investigation. Then they switch to just having air in the capsule.

They use them for welding as well ... I'm waiting for the price of the laser welder/cleaner/cutter machines to come down further .....

Wouldn't any of his "Flames" of the past be tad past the stage of appearing naked by now? I double he'd need oxygen if one was to approach within 10 mtrs anyway .....

I know you can melt pistons and valves and cut through cast iron heads and blocks when you feed it into a nitros injection system as a nitros-oxide substitute .... but it did achieve the fastest road registered 1/4 mile time at the old Eastern Creek Dragway, 8.59 secs ....
