Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

If we are in the bragging mode, try this for size.
My son is on the chainsaw this time.
About 5 years cutting this huge tree to get to this stage.
We still have a slow combustion stove that only goes out in the summer.

Ah, how do you know the stove is a he? I've heard them referred as a name generally used for a female dog, especially after the male of the human species burns themselves on it or have to clean the chimney or ash box .....

Anyway, they probably go to watch the campfire cooking comps for a laugh ......

How about this one. Will it fit through your multi splittter Terry?

John
Yeah, but the D9 or the FW-400 Waltanna to power it can be a bit of a handful ;)

I think Wimmera Jack wins the internet today.
Looks like his is biggest.
My brain still thinks in imperial and I do an on board metric conversion. I asked one of the young bloke to get about a foot ofheat shrink the other day. He had no idea what I meant. He did understand 300mm though.
I had a dental implant put in today. Costa motza. My mouth still hasn't forgiven me. But I do have good pain relief. :D

WJ, there is an old box log at the old mother in laws place that I worked on for a few years. Old dry yellow box, blunted a few chains on that one.
Can't beat a combustion stove for good cooking T1. I used to have one that never went out either.
Cheers

The house opposite where I grew up had a modern looking (well, for the late 50's and 60's) and that also heated the water, so it burnt 24/7 until the chimney needed a clean out. They would load it up with a strange scoop thing they pushed into the coke pile (black stuff made from burning coal in the absence of oxygen) and poured into the firebox ..... we could see the sparkling bits fly out the chimney when they loaded it up and my sister and I would do the childhood bet thing about who got closest to the time the black smoke with the sparkles would belch out, then the flames, then it would all charm down until first thing in the morning ... like before the sun was up .... it looked like a lot of work to avoid high electricity and gas bills .....

John's certainly tried to trap me there..... but I have a secret. Bigger and hotter burns faster. I've invited a few fission nuclear scientists to Taggerty to get some ideas. They're having trouble working out how to seed their mechanical sun with enough heat to trigger the initial reaction.

I said start with green and add diesel. They didn't quite understand. Bit like foot and 300mm, I'm guessing..

I thought Cuppa used oil soaked rags, the diesel was just to get the rags burning, the petrol was to get the diesel burning
