Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Hi everyone, missed last night as it was an all dayer on the bed with Brian. Sore back and feet. Have the mower report , very quiet, easy to start and stop, can see just how much clippings are in the catcher, easier to push, the lith battery is the same as other batteries we use and should be interesting to see how many mows we get out before having to recharge it. Vet rang this arvo to see how Brian was doing and all is progressing. He has done his business, eating and drinking as normal and off his meds. The lawn is coming along nicely but the fruit trees are looking like they will be replaced with dwarf ones but they are so expensive. Noggins I shall give the coffee thing a go. I also put the banana skins around the roses and sometimes I leave the skins in a bucket of water then wait a few days and water other plants with it . Doggie sitting Rosy again next week, Brian will be fighting fit by then  Today was our 35th wedding anniversary, time flies doesn't it. Het Shirley why don't you start dumpster diving? old BBB would be cheering you on . Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bernie x :D Deborah, don't over do the sorting thing

Dot, the cottage next door was at least 30 years old when we bought our property it was renovated & had a small addition added about 20years ago, some of the beautiful seasoned timbers in same would of been over 60 years old all just smashed up :o homes today are all pre cut on C & C machines, delivered to be erected like a Lego set, there mustn’t be a market to bother recycling the building materials, they have kept the large aluminium glass doors. 😢
BBB would definitely of enjoyed scavenging in the skip, always enjoyed his posts, we met him on our trip to Boulia, QLD with a few other CMCA members.

Goodnight Everyone 💤💤💤

We had a scavenger next door at 9pm, he was collecting all the copper pipe from the site among other finds, he checked the excavator out as he walked passed it, unbelievable some people, uneasy feeling scum wandering around backyards at night.

Good night everyone 💤💤💤💤

The fire cracker in a length of pipe is great for that, all they see is a flash in a very big barrel and run like their life depended on it

You boys have given me the lemon answer, no yard dwellers for ages and Chuck was the best for the lemon tree. I will have to do that job myself now. G will not do it as we have a little girl neighbour,I have a she wee. Might get all the lemons off the tree and give it a good prune and give it a good watering more often. Had a text from the bank's fraud department asking if I had used my credit card tonight for $160+? After I had answered all the correct questions he said he has cancelled my card and will replace the $ taken and will issue a new card.Apparently it was used overseas. Ratbags all over the place. Brian for vet check tomorrow might have sutures out and I see the physio. My back is really sore along with my R) ankle especially. Done too much lifting and twisting lately. Yes Deborah I hear you. Nothing much at all happened today and the weather was great, When the place next door was being built some bums ripped all the copper out of the place x 2 then there was a guy loading his trailer up with air con ducting, I told him to put it all back where he got it from and come back in the morning and ask the boss if he could have it, even had 2 old ladies gathering up the wood that had been left in the garage. G told them to go away. Yep the world is a bit stuffed, if you asked most likely they will say OK. BTW the skip was on our land and not the street. Hope all the sickies are improving. Shower time then off to bed. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Mr Tanks x :D and an extra hug. x

Dot, sometimes once you give them a couple of drownings, the lemons will get a bit juicier. Ours have been as bad this year tho and mostly because of the thousands of stink bugs that we have slowly decimated. They eat the new growth and buds as well as lay eggs for next year's worth of bloody bugs. Lemons love chook poop and a bit of potash is good too. They need a lot of food, every couple of months, but worth it when they are good. Stay cool mate xxxx

While the temps are going down, the humidity is still up there. It does have an effect eventually, we are both so tired and restless.

I think the van job is now as done as I can make it. So many little things have found their homes and other things have been quietly tossed out. What he doesn't see wont hurt him. Over Christmas time, I was wearing my usual Christmas earrings (from my own collection) and they were annoying my ears. I suspect that they are made to be tossed out after Christmas, but I like to keep using them. Any way, I brought them in from the van and took a good look at them. The ear wires are all very cheap nasty brass, no wonder they annoyed. I took all the wires off them and have replaced them with lovely shiny stainless steel ones. Now I can still wear the things next Christmas. That was a fiddly time consuming job, but perfect for a hot day.

Hugs being sent your way Tanks, I often think of you when I hear the WA weather and hope you are on the mend. xx

Stay cool you lot,
night xxx
Deborah

This arvo I got stuck into the lemon tree, I have thinned it right out (the center) and a lot of the straggly branches and all the soggy yucky fruit. Have to do more tomorrow height this time. I have been watering it OK and even seasol , No bugs have been seen either. Will do the chook poo as well Deborah thanks. Took the good lemons to the senior citz . Painted a cover from the bus today and washed the curtains. 8-) Brian to vet for his post op check up, she was really happy with his eyelid, he had lost a bit of weight but that was to be expected at his age, See him again next week for his yearly vaccinations and worming. Physio tomorrow and I am really looking forward to it. Time for bed. Hope everyone is happy and healthy. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Noggins x :D
