Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

All I did today was 1 load of washing and fed Brian. How was that Deborah? G went to Dentist and had the tooth removed. Soon he won't have any left and will look more like an Elizabeth feral. He asked about getting the rest out and dentist said it would not be worth it??? Seems every few mths another tooth has a problem. I had my top fangs all removed when I was 16 and would be the best thing I did. G;s problems are the result of him sucking jubes when he went to bed to keep his mouth moist from mouth breathing and by doing that the sugar in those jubes rotted the teeth down at the gums. Now has sugar free ones. When I have to have a spot removed my GP (is qualified to do small stuff) does the initial scrape and if needed the dermatologist does the deep stuff but I only pay the gap that medicare doesn't cover last time $125 Out of pocket. Got an email from Pay Pal saying here is your receipt for $900 something for bitcoin, so I forwarded it to Paypal to sort out. I haven't got my new Visa yet either. Deborah, so far my Daphne is doing well :) but the boysenberry and blackberry have failed miserably. There are heaps of ants around, is that a sign of rain? Time for supper then to bed and for tomorrow, gunna do nothing apart from Brian's vet visit.Watched the Edinburgh Tattoo earlier, love the bagpipes Would love to go there one day BUT !! Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Jd x :D

Good slower day Dot. Just keep on plugging along and not doing too much in any day. You're getting better at doing that too
Dot, if you go into your paypal account to check what is happening, the crooks may put up a message that if this isn't your bill to phone their number.. Do not phone that number. They make it look like paypal when put the message up. They are scammer filth. Report it to paypal fraud department on 1800 073 263 Keep on top of it mate, they are pigs. xxxx

Our GP does the skin freezing etc but once anything looks a bit too big or serious he sends us off to our specialist (Viviav Tng in Broadmeadow) . She is very thorough but charges like it's Christmas for her all year round. We both have an annual check up with her and it's not too bad, except each year now, we seem to be finding more and more serious looking things. I get the stitches out at our GPs, just for convenience. Luckily he only charges medicare for those appointments. Last week when I had a "long consult" I had to pay $99 wasn't too thrilled with that. Looks like for some visits we are now having to pay at least $40 after medicare returns their bit. Not really happy with that, but as Shirley has already said, GPs here are like hens teeth. If you are not already on their books, lots of luck changing docs. That add on TV that says it will be easier to find a bulk billing GP, just breaks us out laughing. Not anywhere on the Central Coast does total bulk billing and if they do, you will wait months for an appointment.

Today I had the hand xray done, another couple of hours out in the heat. It was only around 30 degrees but with 98% humidity, it feels a lot hotter. Tomorrow will be even hotter, oh goodee.

Our grand daughter is staying with her class, at the sport & rec camp just down the road from Shirley. It is the same camp that I spent many of my childhood school holidays visiting, so it will be interesting to have a squizz around tomorrow. Our daughter has asked us to collect Bella from the camp and take her half way to Sydney, to save some time for them all. They are leaving from Mascot to head for NZ tomorrow night, so we are helping the process to hopefully be a smoother transition for Bella. I don't think Bella was happy to be missing out on the bus trip home with her mates, so some bribes may have to be found for keeping her smiling. ;)

Deborah after many attempts to contact Paypal via the # you gave me I resorted back to the way that works and that is to muck up the Q's the robot asks you to put in numbers You deliberately make up or put a number wrong a few times then you get put straight onto a real person . After speaking to the man and he had gone and checked Pay pal had not sent any email to the one I got the message in Therefor the email was a hoax / spam. All sorted. Thanks M8. We have had just a few rain drops nothing to even wet the grass. Hows the shoulder pain? When do you get the nasty cut out Shirley? Might be a big cut Ouch. Brian did well at his check up :D Speech therapist coming tomorrow to watch me eat lunch, what is there to see with me sucking a banana smoothy through a straw?? Off early now. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Paramount cruiser x :D

Never a dull moment hey Dot? Speechies are a bit weird in some of the things that they do. Good luck with that. The pain in my shoulder is not great. Today the waterproof bandaid had to come off and the sticky weather is not helping. Shirt keeps sticking to the wound and it is not great. xxxx

Shirley, I sympathise with your home sickness at camp. It can be a scary proposition for kids leaving home for the first time. I ended up teaching in those same camps for a few years (back in the 70's). I couldn't wait to get away from an abusive family home, which is probably why I went as often as I could when I was much younger.

Our day went like clockwork. We arrived at the camp at noon exactly. Bella was waiting at the closed gate with a teacher. She identified us before we got out of the car and she was handed over, no autograph or paperwork needed. I was disappointed to not have a chance to look around. We arrived at Moonie Moonie workers club to meet our daughter. We had a lovely lunch together, she left around 2. First text we had was at 3:06 to say they had arrived at the airport. She sent us pics and times as they happened and then at 10:39 they had landed and were going through customs. They fitted a lot in that 10 hour timeslot. I don't envy them the travels and certainly don't want to watch them do their running things. I'm happy to stay right here for a bit longer I think.

Dot the melanoma was removed a few years ago it was a large deep cut, have an indent in the arm from it’s removal,
I’ve just had a biopsy done on the side of my nose, told to apply block out sunscreen cream on it twice a day, booked for a follow up & complete body check in April.

Deborah I was wondering where you were, sounds good that your retrieval of your g’daughter ran smoothly, although it would have been good to see the improvements at the camp.
I’ve always thought that it would be good if the swimming pool was open for locals to use, guess it would be to expensive with insurance & life guard etc.,

Good night or should I say good morning

Night Dot xxxx

Shirley, I was surprised that you said today got up to 29degrees. I have felt cold all day, with the very cool breeze flying around. We closed up the whole house tonight with all the outside doors being shut for the first time since Christmas. I think I may even need a blanket to get to sleep, it's that cold now.

I spent the day working on some of the business trays. I had to add some different pieces to the bargain trays and find all the pieces that had bits broken off. When the glass has been fired, it gets a bail glued on to give it the metal hook for a chain. Many of the older pieces have had the glue fail. So today was doing the glue job and I am still picking off tiny bits of glue from my fingers. It was a good day to get that job out of the way for a while. The glue will be dry enough tomorrow for me to be able to get that job all packed away until we next travel.

Dot, still sleeping in mate? xxxx

Today was another business catch up, tidy day. I checked out one of the crates and found the the stash of f**kbook cards is almost non existent. A few hours spent fiddling around printing many sheets of them and then chopping them into smaller pieces. Often peeps will ask for a business card. If they aren't buying, I give them a small piece of paper with our f**kbook details on. Takes a bit of fiddly time, but it isn't housework! They are certainly cheaper than business cards.

I have had some cards printed up to show the process of making a sculpture. They seemed to disappear on our last stall. Today I found the pics on the computer and printed and laminated a new set of cards. Many peeps are fascinated by the sculptures and having the photos seems to help them visualise the process. I sold one to a person after he looked at the photos, so I know they are worth having around the stall.

Still coolish weather with little inconvenient sprinkles of rain. Just want a couple of decent downpours to water the garden, not really greedy.

Stay cool,
night all xxx
Deborah
