Looks like you're 'up the top'? Did you go to the Kookynie pub? Was the landlord still grumpy?

We will be heading to Kalgoorlie probably on Tuesday and then across to Perth by the end of the week, if all goes according to plan. Thinking of staying a week at Camp Wattle Grove in Perth, recommended by Wendy and Ash on their blog.

Hi Lesley,

What is the cost of staying at Camp Wattle Grove?

I believe it is $30 p.n. or $150 p.w. but I have not confirmed that yet.

We went the other way from here, going North, we were there about 6 weeks, ago parked down the front of the wall, great place and friendly companions found there.
Have they finished the road works into the place yet ?

Another good place to stay on the way down to Perth is Karalee Rocks.
Nice open area with dump point, toilets, non potable water and fireplaces.
