Hey, wot's the thing for Nanango? We loved the feel of the town and stayed for a week last year, but why do others want to go there? Especially all the way from over the ditch.
I seems to remember that's where the dragon fruit farm is. They were not open when we tried to visit, cause it wasnt dragon fruit season at the time. Do go into Kingaroy to the biscuit factory and buy lots of their really lovely really buttery biscuits (bugga the diets, these are as good as homemade). When you do a wander around the factory the workers are all amazing people and just lovely to watch them at work in a very happy supportive environment.

Re: Oz Bound....
Nanango is where Christine and I have a friend who lives there on 5 acres who we have known for 40 years. Her hubby passed away a couple of years ago. They used to live in NZ but shifted to the Gold Coast and lived there for a number of years. Nanango is also where OZ fueler aka Steve and Lorraine looked after the c.p. on the way into town...dream4red wrote:Hey, wot's the thing for Nanango? Thanks for the explanation Norman, now you and Steve have to promise to go get some of those bickies, seeing as it will be a while before I can get back up there. You better eat them for me too, you wont regret it.
