Hogwash Bend is a Conservation Park area on the River Murray and has a huge sandy beach with a gentle sloping area into the water suitable for small children.
It is on the Southern side of the Murray between Morgan & Waikerie.
There is an all-weather road down to the River but after that it turns to a maize of tracks both ways along the River.
I had no trouble travelling some distance even though there had been a lot of rain very recently.
I'd hesitate to go there with a very big bus. It's also a little hard to park in a good area to maximise solar input.
