Our Next Trip...

Post by Ros20549 »

Well van is almost packed only the last minute things to go in and a little cooking to do, BOSS rearranging back of ute, and only 5 more sleeps and we are back on the road... A visit first to Dot & George then all places north , up the centre, a visit to Coober Pedy, Alice Springs. Gem Tree, Tennant Creek and then out to King Ash Bay, BOSS hopes to catch himself a few fish  .... From there down to Barkly Homestead across to Camooweal, Mt.Isa, Boulia, Winton, Isisford, Blackall, a bit of Gem hunting near Emerald, maybe up to visit nephew in Mackay then friends at Yeppoon, then down to Toowoomba to visit my brother from there who knows will depend on our time, but hope to do a few artesian pools on the way home through NSW home is about 20th Oct. Really looking forward to this trip we hope to free camp for most of the time, so if anyone has a few suggestions of some great camps please let us know. Will try and drop you all an update every now again when we have service.

Cheers Ros and Ivan.... :D

If you get the chance, check out Rainbow Valley, a little south of Alice Springs. It's 20+Km of gravel road, some rough, but OK for 2WD if dry.

Ros,
Baited breath won't do it.
You have to use a fishing line & hook!
